Also fascinated by everyone’s elemental makeup/relationship with different elements and slightly amused to realise I am officially ‘all hot air’! That’s about right!

Thinking about it my relationship with earth is learned rather than innate. I used to have such an aversion to any kind of grounding technique and felt those grounding meditations where you visualise yourself growing roots into the earth were completely unreasonable! I’d feel panicky and ‘trapped’

I had a l/t partner who was very ‘earthy’, we proved too different overall but on reflection I think I did learn to connect with earth energy through him. Now I love earth energy. There’s learning in every experience isn’t there?!

I have alwya had an aversion to wind, but in the past few weeks I have found the soft warm breezes so comforting and nurturing.

Good evening everyone, it's so lovely and cool tonight. I'm sitting in the garden enjoying the last of the days sun while I catch up on all your posts.

I'm relieved to say that I got to the bottom of what was causing all the problems in my house and why I've been feeling so tired and lethargic. With a bit of help, the energy has moved on and I'm feeling much more like myself again. I went for a long walk on the countryside this morning with a friend, something I've not had the energy to do over the last week, it felt so good to be out in nature, really rejuvenating.

I'm also fascinated by astrological charts and understanding more about the elements we are made up with. I am fire and air, with some water and a little earth. Like you Yashmis I struggled with grounding when I was younger and have had to work hard on this. I can still be very much 'head in the clouds'! I'd love to have my chart done properly.

Thinking of adding some runes to my collection. There's some quite reasonable on Amazon, I thought to start with maybe don't go crazy.

Can't wait for the Viking Festival in September. There's a rune & sigil making workshop. One about connecting to spirit guides using wildlife. Sounds really good.

It's in the Midlands. It's £20 to do activities, £20 to just mill about and eat in the Viking Food/Drink Hall, or £40 for both. Children get reduced entry, plus other concessions.

I pretty much want to do everything but will have to choose.

Just been working steadily today and a nice relaxed pace, which is perfect. Mixing, melting wax, sorting out supplies.
My familiars love these afternoons. They are usually nearby, gently dozing.

The weather has turned here, quite predictable really as the farmers are all deep in harvesting! One side effect is that our cats bring far more 'gifts' and we also see an increase in spiders!
I took my youngest son to the beach yesterday and found a piece of seaglass. Our stretch of coast doesn't offer up all that much of it so it always feels like a real treasure.
I'm at the gym later, looking forward to it.

If anyone has any energy to spare I would appreciate a candle to calm, ease and energise.
Different family members have negative energy of all sorts flying around today, it's like a harbour full of boats in a bad storm, my head is so full of conflicting perspectives I am finding it hard to find clarity.

There seems to be a few people experiencing difficulties with energy at the moment, I'm wondering if it's connected with mercury going direct tomorrow? I've hear the first and last day of the retrograde are when the energy is most powerful.

Queenrollo the weather has turned here too. It really feels like summer is beginning to draw to a close. I'm trying to be in the moment and not look ahead to much, but can't help feeling excited for autumn!

Thank you for your thoughts. The mercury has dropped and so has my ballooning,so feeling more or less ''normal'' whatever normal is!

Went for a walk through the park,spent some time watching (and laughing at) the squirrels,such funny little things,one climbed up a tree and made his/her way through three or four before coming down and scurrying off with a nut or two in their mouth.

Spent a pleasant half hour watching bowling - I'm seriously thinking about trying it,it looks fun. Would be ideal - gentle exercise and meeting new people. Week off next week so will try the two clubs near me.

It's been a while since I last dropped by, I've been battening down the hatches energy-wise and spending some time away from the cyber world. I get so tempted and absorbed by all the masses of information at my fingertips and sometimes need time away just to ground and ' be here now'!

Always good to come back and catch up here. I need to read through and see what I've missed!

Stumpy finally a not boiling day in London yesterday!

Yashmis thank you for the Lammas wishes - same to you and all.

I have been doing everything I need to do but very tired. End of Mercury retrograde now I think? I hope we can do summer without any more heatwaves which will really help.

I have got myself a couple of books about the countryside - as I am very limited in chances to go, I thought that was the way forward.

I'm also thinking of sorting out - this sounds a bit up myself - some sort of "evening outfit". I always have set stuff for work and I suddenly thought, I wonder if I will find it easier to wind down in the evening if I have something to wear that says "work is done, you can relax now". I normally just wear jeans etc. And tbh I don't ever really spend money on clothes, but thinking perhaps I will put some thought into it and buy something treaty - could do with some nice slippers as well.

I'm not great at sticking with an evening ritual but that's because work hours vary, or out with friends, or at mum's so it gets a bit complicated. Thinking to make the last hour of the day more like that. I have a friend who does this at 10 on the dot - so even if she's out after work, she won't flop in front of the TV or MN, she will do her rituals without fail. I need more discipline!

Mercury Retrograde really decided to go out with a bang here. Well, more of a psssssstttt really as I heard this sound and discovered a burst pipe on the mains feed into the house. In THE most disruptive and destructive part of our kitchen.
Thanks be to friends who opened their house up to me. Blessed I am indeed.
Home now, to deal with the aftermath.
