Hello lovelies , what's everyone up to this afternoon ?
We were up and out early ( for us ) enjoying the sunshine with an alfresco brunch and now we seem to have turned into couch potatoes.
My dh likes the tennis so I'm on my phone.
Visited a cathedral this morning, they had a surprising amount of pagan items in their gift shop

Hello all, a sparkling new thread.
Filled how lovely that there were pagan items in a cathedral, great to see embracing of different beliefs.
I'm currently parked barefoot in long grass by the beach, I can't get down onto this one for a paddle but the sound of the waves and the feeling of the grass is soothing my soul

I don't think the pagan items were an attempt at inclusion. It's been a business decision.
They have a lot of Celtic designs , triskele , Brigid's cross the tree of life etc that go down well with the tourists.
I was happy to see these ancient symbols that predate the cathedral and Christianity being relevant and of interest to people.

Im so intrigued and have so many questions. I think it’s so fascinating.
What is the difference between paganism, Wicca, Witchcraft etc?

I've just been catching up on the old one.

I'm a little bit in awe of the synchronicity I've just experienced in relation to Yashmi's 8&8 ritual.
These past few weeks I've been reflecting on using divine feminine energy to counteract toxic masculinity. And how we can all come together to raise vibrational energy in the world.

And how this can begin on an individual level.

The realisation that we can raise our own personal frequency just through our intentions just hit me with a sudden clarity very recently. Although as usual it was more like a realisation of what I already knew deep down than brand new knowledge.

And at the same time I've been considering the importance of rituals in day to day life.

So it's all rather resonating with me with bells on!

I aim to join you at 8pm tonight. It is exactly what I need at this time as well as what the world needs.

Hi just browsed the first thread. I have always been drawn to nature, saw signs and symbols in clouds a child, lots of de ja vu as a child and as I got older this has decreased. Used to feel I could move objects with my mind as a child. I have psychic abilities. My mum calls me a witch and have had a few readings from psychics who confirm that I have psychic powers and the last stated I was clairordiant and my one of my past lives was that of a sorcerer 😳

I'm a healer by nature. My job is quite healing. I've dabbled with angel cards and recently tarot, but still getting to grips with it. I'd love to develop my psychic abilities.

I had a long walk last night - a long walk in the concrete is actually better later because it's less busy - and a good think.

I do think that the universe is trying to tell me something about my plans and I don't often say stuff like that.

a couple of other things went wrong - on a practical level - yesterday. I'm pretty sure I'm being told to slow down, if not stop.

no sign of the pills. I am a terrible sleeper and I do genuinely wonder if I binned them in my sleep or something like that.

I'm not due to see my mum till Saturday - she isn't well but sister is helping this week as she was away - so outside of work, I'm just going to try to relax.

Rosa try meditating down and asking for some clarity on what it is you need to know. Maybe give intuitive writing a go. Relax right down and ask to be given the words and just let your pen flow and see what happens.

I've had some good news, I've been asked to do tarot readings at an open day at a big spiritualist centre next month. Half of me is terrified, but the other half of me can't wait!

Thank you to the poster for the links to the previous threads, I’ll make my way through them.
I recently bought some books on Wicca, crystals, spells and a journal. I don’t know exactly how I’d describe myself to be honest, I come from the least religious family but I do believe in God. I pray and attend church (though not as much as I should). I have a science degree which conflicts with those beliefs but I’m also interested in learning about Wicca. I feel the effects of the moon, absolutely love nature and it helps my mental health massively. And I love the idea of using natural ingredients to benefit ourselves and others. So that’s me! A little eclectic mix of all sorts but trying to learn!

Eclipse today, wonder if we will feel any effects.

Cleaning all day here too, and cutting the grass and hedges. I feel much better when it’s done and have a clearer mind.

I’ve bought myself a note book to start a ‘Book of Shadows’... does anyone else have one of these? Is this the correct term? And if so, how are your books coming along?
