I celebrate tonight with goddess energy of the Kelpies, a Celtic Goddess water and horse energy and wonderfully celebrated in 100 foot high outdoor sculptures near me. Thay are a sight to behold.

Good morning.

I have woken up to the sweet sound of rain. Overcast skies and 15 degrees. Just lovely.
Last night I fell asleep to the sound of my DS singing in the shower, so my sleep has been bookened in the most amazing way. I dreamed of birds and woken up to ponder on the goddess.
The story of Rhiannon teaches us that with truth, patience, and love we can create change no matter how bleak life seems at the moment.
Just an inspiring line I have been reading this morning, and wanted to share.

I took myself up onto the moors last night, followed my heart again. I was rewarded by watching wild ponies as the sun set. Then I stayed up late reading (another wormhole!), tired from the week I planned a lie in this morning. The goddess had other plans and woke me in time for my 8am practice. Helping me honour my commitment for my own good I think!

I’m enjoying the cooler air and planning a day of pottering and clearing. My house needs it, and I know I’ll feel boosted once it’s done. I’m not a naturally tidy person- my space can easily descend into chaos as I disappear down my latest wormhole of interest so it helps me to reframe clearing up us as magical thing- energy work!

This made me smile. Made me think about the kind of chats we have together in our witches kitchen.

I hope everyone is able to find time this weekend to feed whatever passion is bubbling in their soul 💫

Good morning Speakout and Yashmis your posts are so calming to read and just what I needed this morning. Following Friday nights flood drama, DS1 was woken up at 2am with several wasps in his bedroom. Understandably, this was quite a shock, so it took him a long time to calm down and to get them out of his bedroom. And this morning we have a power cut 🙄

I'm trying to take it all in my stride, but not so easy when all I want to do is make a cup of coffee and relax for a while and listen to the rain!

I hope everyone had time this weekend to feed whatever passion is bubbling in their soul

Happily I'm going out for most of the day to a yoga and Ayurveda workshop** 😊

Amazing kelpies photo speakout

I had a nice piece of animal related synchronicity yesterday. I've become very aware of magpies - both in my garden and on walks. I was researching an ancestor often on my mind at the moment and I've always been confused by a missing part of her name that begins with P. The answer popped up yesterday - it's Pye. I looked up the use of Pye as a name and it's related to the magpie, meaning a talkative person. I guess she was talking to me!

If someone has time to do me a tarot reading in the next few days I would be very grateful.
I was supposed to be alone today and had planned to go to a local witchy shop for a reading, but my husband's plans got rained off. For various reasons this means I had to then cancel my plans.

It is very rainy here today, my garden is appreciating it.

Somewhat discombobulated here.

You know that tree that took a chunk out of my head a few weeks ago that led to the abandonment of the trip?

Well I went back again today with the same friend and one other. No sign of the path booby trap. Nothing. No sign of any tree cutting or clearance work (and we looked- believe me we looked).

This ranks fairly high on my WTF meter.

Anyone else just can’t sleep tonight? I’ve had a busy day and just can’t switch off. Enjoying the cooler weather but what I’m loving the most is how misty it is. I ended up sitting in the garden and just staring into the blissfully foggy air. It felt quiet and relaxing. Now I’m back to bed and still can’t sleep and it’s so not like me!

I had some lovely goddess synchronicity yesterday- some meaningful treasure waiting for me in the charity shop. I love it when that happens.

Elphame oh my goodness- what a story about the tree. Some power manifest in that area.

It is such a beautiful day here, heavy rain and misty, so lush and verdant.
I love the sound of rain- it's so soothing. It drums on the roof of my conservatory, I like sitting in there on rainy days.
The rain also drums on the cowl on the top of my chimney stack, the whole chimney acts like an echo camber and amplifies the sound of ,the rain on the roof. I used to think I had a leak at the back of the fireplace, but I can hear bird's feet walking around when they land on top of the chimney too.
A quiet day here, I have some work to do, but at a relaxed pace, with music and incense ( my mother is at church for 4 hours on a Sunday)
I bought some incense recently- a shop was closing and selling off remainder stock, all new and boxed. I thought it would be a dozen or so boxes- I paid only £10 for the lot.
This enormous box arrived stuffed full of every type of incense imaginable, I estimate I must have 40 thousand incense sticks, all new and sealed sitting in my garage.
I am really not sure what to do with it, it's far too much for me to use.
My garage smells amazing though!!

I have to move myself, I need to make a batch of rose and geranium candles- I supply a shop in Italy with these specific ones. Kitchen will be smelling good too today!

Good morning everyone, lovely to catch up with you all with a cuppa.

As expected this week has been endless and next will be similar but I managed to catch up yesterday with lots of laundry (I do love some laundry magic) and a good clean and smudged out some of the negative energy. Today is delightfully rainy and cool.

Stumpy I hope you are feeling a little easier,
I understand completely my knee has not enjoyed the heat at all and I had a different physio this week who informed me that was unlikely as cold is worse. Yet when she tried to get it to move she had to acknowledge it was in fact worse.

Violet I hope you are now feeling better, that's one way to get wild water.

Yashmis your lovely photos have really given me a boost. That water looks so inviting I couldn't have resisted either. My Dh informed me the other evening I'm an "auld eejit" after having to help get me out of our stream, the bank slopes down gently, no problem on crutches, apparently getting back up was a problem. I was quite content to sit and soak my feet until rescue arrived complete with cat(apparently she's a stream cat as well as bathcat) and dds.

It’s funny the pull to water. I was re-looking at my astrology chart and noted that there’s no earth at all and only the tiniest drop of water- I’m apparently all air and fire! Perhaps this is why the earth and the water are so appealing to me- balancing it all out!

I’ve just had a feline visitor- a lovely grey cat wandered in for a nose around through the open patio doors. Very similar in look to the one I always see around work. Both are obviously well cared for and have homes but it’s nice to have a visit. It’s making me think about my current lack of animal companion, maybe it’s time to be open to a new one..

YashmisCrone - that;s interesting. I'm almost 100% earth, little bit of air but no water or fire at all. The earth element is no surprise, It has always been my element and one I enjoy working. Air though, not so much. In fact I really dislike being outside in wind.

Water itself actually brings me out in hives if I'm exposed to it for any length of time - very weird but I do love fire. I was very surprised not to find it in my chart

I am so interested to hear of our elemental make up.
I am a fire person. and like you Elphame I don't like wind usually, quite disconcerts me. I am good with earth, but not air. I dislike heights, wide expanses make me feel vulnerable and exposed.
I like warm hollows!!
I will look out for nag champa, I have only managed to dig into the top layers of the box so far.
