A place for support, learning, swapping ideas and magical inspiration.

Salem, yay, that's great.

Tempest, hope the new one works better.

hungryhippie · 22/10/2019 14:29

Just popping in to say hi!
I'm a mum of 3 boys and generally follow a bit of an eclectic path.

I've lost my way over the last few years due to ill health and various other reasons but I've enjoyed reading your posts on here.

I'm hoping to create some lovely Yule/winter solstice memories and traditions for my children this year.

YashmisCrone · 22/10/2019 17:56

Just flying by but wanted to say it’s lovely to read the good news Salem and the potential positive new direction for you Tempest 😊

Welcome hungryhippie, make yourself at home. Look forward to chatting more with you

VioletCharlotte · 22/10/2019 19:43

Good evening, such wonderful, positive energy here tonight.
Salem great news about the job offers. It's lovely to hear you sounding so happy 😀
IntheTempest this new instructor sounds promising. It really helps to have someone you feel comfortable and relaxed with. You'll be driving in no time!
Hungryhippo welcome! Lovely to have you with us 😊
Speakout my neighbours daughter plays the violin, I love listening to her practise. My DS plays the guitar, I do miss hearing him now he's away.

I didn't see the comet trail either, it was too cloudy here too. It was a beautiful morning here, I enjoyed watching the sun rise in my drive into work and the low mist over the fields (I can't remember who called it 'Dragons breath', I love this!)

InTheTempest · 22/10/2019 21:27

Thank you all. I'm feeling really positive about this new instructor- she is really on the ball and I now have some very regular lessons booked up for the next couple of months.

Hungryhippie that sounds great, I also want to really celebrate the winter solstice with my DC this year too. For the past couple of years, I have bought 'christmas' cards that are far more pagan... found some in Oxfam the other day with a hare running through snow and a full moon.

I'm also really looking forward to Samhain. I will mark this, and probably spend some time thinking about the past year, think of my grandmothers who are no longer here and remember them. And I will also do Halloween for the kids- I'm planning a small party and obviously trick or treating 🎃

SalemSpellman · 23/10/2019 09:16

@InTheTempest good luck with your driving instructor, I had 3 driving instructors before I found one who understood me. He was a very kind man and was a similar personality to my dad, I'm sure that's what helped me pass!

A misty cold day here in the midlands, I'm decluttering the house today with my new found energy. I hope you all have nice days ahead of you.

YashmisCrone · 23/10/2019 09:46

I’m loving the positive energy here too. I’ve also been enjoying the magic of dragon’s breath where I am.

As always from this site I enjoyed this article and the cake idea it suggests

It does doesn’t it speakout I do enjoy that blog and collecting the recipes even if I don’t make them!

Another blog I like has an interesting series flowing with the energy of autumn. Not specifically witchcraft related but may still be of interest to those wanting to work more consciously with the energy of the seasons

Hi everyone, on a flying visit again.
For no particular reason Halloween Grin I thought it may be nice to post about Labyrinths, so here's a couple of links, just about everything anyone could want to know about them is covered.

and especially a new view on their use, Tom Graves' Skills Labyrinth, always handy to know when you're wondering about twists and turns in the Path.

So interesting blanktimes.

Makes me think of Borobodur labyrinth, a 8th century temple in Java, elevated that I visited at sunrise. Such an amazing place.

Evening everyone, just had a few hours to myself and I've enjoyed catching up on the thread. Thought I would reply to old comments here and then place mark in the new thread.
Yashmi I agree that cake looks delicious! I have also checked out that blog and intend to do some more reading there, it looks really interesting
Blanktimes, the labyrinth information is really interesting, I have always been fascinated with mazes but the information was really interesting and made me think about a certain 'journey' I am on in a different light.
Speakout that picture is beautiful, must have been an amazing experience.
I have had a busy week, and am feeling a bit flat but this thread always gives me a little lift. I'm going to light a candle for 8pm and enjoy some meditation
