KSM - DD had operation last Thurs (5th) to remove adnoids & have grommets fitted. No news yet.

PandaG - Praise God her friend's DD who was in hospital has had a DX for her rash & is home, feeling a lot better. Prayers for Panda as she is feeling low atm.

Suzy - Prayers for DNephew who has been admitted to hospital because his kidneys are leaking urine.

tasja - On-going prayers for her child-minding business to pick up.

fannyannie - Things are going well with DS3 and DH - Prayers this would continue and get better & better!

BedofRosesitAint - Prayers that she would be able to sort childcare out for Sept.

CarGirl - Prayers for increased intimacy with God.

CaptainCaveman - Praise God for the "all clear" result reiceved for A & J from her church! Lots of prayers for DSis who is drinking a lot again & not doing well, prayers of protection for her DNiece.

LaurieFairyCake - Welcome! Prayers for her & her family as they struggle to make ends meet financially at this time.

NASWM - Lots of prayers for her & her family as her DH gos through gruelling treatment for liver failure. NASWM also requested prayers for her friend K who has cancer but is too ill to recieve Chemo at the present time.

CaptainDippy - Praise God that Adam is recovering so well, prayers for this to continue. Prayers for her as she struggles with tiredness and anxiety.

I've emailed Sooz, but had no reply (where are you????)

Good morning all

Well things are looking interesting here. We have moved lots of stuff upstairs, and are waiting to see what is going to happen today and tomorrow. We are fine. We don't have lots of expensive stuff downstairs, and as long as everyone is safe then there's not much else we can do. There were lots of very worried/sad mums at school this morning. Prayers would be appreciated for calm and peace of mind for all of those affected by the floods.

I fear that my lovely friend, whom I mentioned was going to New Wine, may have lost his home and his brand new Christian Art business - I saw their road on the news and it was 6' under flood waters . His wife Jenny is pregnant and they have a two year old. I've tried contacting them and there's no reply, so prayers for them would be very much appreciated.

Good news. I've got an interview at DH work as a receptionist/admin person. I believe it is God's plan for me - that's why my childminding business wouldn't take off. Please pray with me that I get this job. My interview is Friday at 14:00.

Will pray now and on Friday Tasja. Cat me if you would like a chat, we are on the other side of town in Abington but there are buses... I was in West Hunsbury on Saturday and I think your church is on our prayer list. To do with a new building?

Thank you for your prayers! I was doing my usual job of "sticking my neck out", but it was taken in the best possible way, so no problems there. Just need to start thinking about my essays.

Stomach STILL a bit tender, I've started eating children's size portions of food, without things getting any worse...

"I'm going to have a man for the first time". She was referring to the fact that next year she'll be taught by a male teacher!

Hi all

Just to let you know that we are OK so far. The river is due to peak tonight, so we will know by the morning one way or other. However, it has been good to see folks helping each other out today, lots of people out and about, talking and on the whole staying cheerful. At least we have had lots of warning to move things upstairs etc. DS1 and I have been distracting ourselves wonderfully with HP!

Aw thank you. It's only 'stuff', if it does get wet (and smelly, I know). It's really awful for people who are losing their livelihoods as well.

I'd appreciate your prayers. I've had a real emotional rollercoaster of a weekend, and a big argument with dh that's left me feeling very low.

Still praying for the flood waters to recede and for no more rain to fall. Our God is a great big God and I'm praying that it will stay dry for the next few days.

Just nipping in to let you know, those of you who sent stuff for Naswm, that I sent your cards/letters off to her today and a vase of lovely flowers will be delivered to her tomorrow.

I am not going to be around much for the next few weeks so I am not sure if I will be able to relay any message of thanks to you from Naswm but I am sure you know she will be wanting to thank you one day when she is better.

From what I can tell, I think your prayers are still very much needed.
