Summary from last week:

KSM - DD had operation last Thurs (5th) to remove adnoids & have grommets fitted. No news yet.

PandaG - Praise God her friend's DD who was in hospital has had a DX for her rash & is home, feeling a lot better. Prayers for Panda as she is feeling low atm.

Suzy - Prayers for DNephew who has been admitted to hospital because his kidneys are leaking urine.

tasja - On-going prayers for her child-minding business to pick up.

fannyannie - Things are going well with DS3 and DH - Prayers this would continue and get better & better!

BedofRosesitAint - Prayers that she would be able to sort childcare out for Sept.

CarGirl - Prayers for increased intimacy with God.

CaptainCaveman - Praise God for the "all clear" result reiceved for A & J from her church! Lots of prayers for DSis who is drinking a lot again & not doing well, prayers of protection for her DNiece.

LaurieFairyCake - Welcome! Prayers for her & her family as they struggle to make ends meet financially at this time.

NASWM - Lots of prayers for her & her family as her DH gos through gruelling treatment for liver failure. NASWM also requested prayers for her friend K who has cancer but is too ill to recieve Chemo at the present time.

CaptainDippy - Praise God that Adam is recovering so well, prayers for this to continue. Prayers for her as she struggles with tiredness and anxiety.

Praying onlyjoking. May God be with you both and strengthen you and support you.

I'm under the weather (again). Keep getting stomach pains. I'm having a break from food today - so am praying that'll help. DH has been lovely, doing the food shopping and keeping the kids occupied.

Panda - hope you have a lovely time at New Wine. I've never been to anything like that and would LOVE to! Can't see DH agreeing though... and anyway if he did agree, I'd probably prefer a silent retreat (a good way of getting some peace I think!)

Thanks DutchOma. I've been feeling like this on and off for a week though. Plus I've been feeling very bloated (TMI). If it keeps up I'll get down the Drs.

I was able to visit naswm this week, as well as her DH and DCs. naswm herself is not in a great way I'm sad to say, but I am hoping thst when the get her meds sorted things will start to improve. It was lovely to see her though, life is very strange without her just round the corner. I miss her a lot.

Her DH has now begun to settle down into some sort of routine and her children are coping very well. As her DH pointed out, being in hospital is no big deal for them, sadly it is the norm, so for their mummy to be in hospital is not as frightening for them as it would be for other children. However, please please do continue to pray for the whole family.

Thank you ILR for your update. Yes, I am praying lots for naswm, so sorry to hear she is feeling miserable. Glad to hear DH and Dss are coping.

Does CC know anything about Sooz, didn't Sooz go to the Cavemen church once? With the twins in tigersuits?

Stomach still dodgy. Just tender more than anything. Had some rice yesterday evening, otherwise not eaten since Friday night.

I've got no childcare for Thursday... could do with some prayers on what to do for the best. Its either DH's parents (kids watch TV all day, get no exercise and sweets/crisps/chocolate/pop all day) or I take a day's leave (unpaid) - if they'll let me...

Also feeling a bit wobbly over church type things. Not sure if I'm feeling like this because I'm under the weather, or whether I'm doing the right thing, or whether its the devil having a pop at me... feel such a fraud sometimes.

ILR - meant to say, thanks for the update. I guess she's feeling guilty over where she's ended up? She shouldn't do... she needs to allow time for herself to recover. Her DH sounds lovely. I prayed for them all at church today.

It was really weird, I'd just prayed for God to "give them comfort and strength" in the moment of silence after intercessions, then the intercessor prayed "God give them comfort and strength" as her next words!

'Feeling a fraud' is definitely lies and we know where they come from. Is dh still a bit 'anti'? That doesn't help. How much longer have you got to go on your course? I forget, sorry.
Have you tried a drink made with half a stock cube taken with a cream cracker? I alsways find that is the first thing I want to drink/eat when having a wobbly tummy.
Hope the child care sorts itself out.

No, he's been very supportive, and is concerned that he might have put me off something I enjoy doing. We've had no further disagreements over it.
I finish the course in April 2009.

Something to cheer me up - I'm booked to go White Water Rafting in Nottingham on Sat. 4 August. DH bought it for me for my birthday last year, finally got round to booking it! Anyone fancy a Nottingham meetup?

I finished HP this afternoon . I was reading it yesterday whilst "feeling poorly so DH took the kids out" .
