Hello lovelies, another thread , another day another month . I hope it's a good one .

Speakout that Miriam stone is stunning , what a find !

Isn't it interesting how many of us have felt a perceivable shift ?
I'd been feeling a bit low , letting ongoing problems niggle until a couple of days ago when I had lots of energy and got spring cleaning and sorting done , the type of clear out that was years overdue .
A bit part of it was donating costume jewellery and cleaning and carefully storing 'good ' stuff that was meaningful to me.
I was feeling pretty good until yesterday when a treasured necklace broke while I was wearing it and the pendant was lost in a shop car park , I went back and found it , amazingly . I realised I had the necklace exactly a year.
Can anyone think what the significance of that was ?
I've noticed a lot of synchronicity in the last few days and I just think it means something.
Anyway I just wanted to say I'm getting the good/bad vibe too and yes we should be on our guard perhaps but I feel something exciting is coming .

In the olden days, many household objects were used so they wouldn't attract suspicion. Years ago, when I visited the Witchcraft Museum in Boscastle they had a room laid out as a Wise Woman's kitchen, with a list of what all the ordinary objects' magical uses were.

When I first started learning, it was much the same, there were no witchy shops, online hadn't been invented, the only tools you had were the ones you made yourself and books were very hard to source without drawing unwanted attention to yourself.
Nowadays of course, it's so different.

So glad to find you all still settled round the aga. I haven't had much to say lately but enjoy just taking in all of your wise words. I find that this has become a little haven to me for the last few months, so thank you all.

Crystals are amazing things.

In textbooks, there's always an illustration which shows all the properties using one illustration to show them all like clear, inclusion, bridge, double terminated, self-healed, window, key and all the rest. One day I picked this one up and realised it had most of the attributes described in these illustrations, so I've called it my textbook crystal.

More tea anyone? I'm on my third cup of Tulsi Clarity already.

I've got a few big ones That one is a really lovely one. It's not great for balancing on your third eye or doing a healing for anyone else as it's so heavy, but good for formations around someone who is laid inside a pattern.

This is the end of it that I clipped off the previous pic showing the bridge crystal.
It's really hard holding it in one hand and using the camera in the other, I didn't have a phone with camera then.

It's fabulous when you've had knowledge passed down the generations like that, you're very lucky.

Here's an image of 'writing' on a Lemurian Seed Crystal, one of the first ones, before everyone gave the name to lots of bits of quartz.
Much was made at the time about not only the barcoding on each alternate side of the crystal, (which to a lesser extent is seen on other quartz) but of the "writing" found inscribed on them. My Lemurians have it, but no other quartz crystal i have has this 'writing' it's very odd because it looks as though it's diamond-cut, yet not one of the incised lines cuts into the actual side of the crystal face. It's not like carved Ogham. Strange stuff indeed

The questioning of the other parts of Witchcraft, the possible dangers. Always gets brushed aside.

Because it's not a question. It's a statement and one based on lack of understanding and superstition

There are two answers to this

1. What I personally choose to do isn't dangerous so it's a moot point

2. Some of what I do is dangerous but I fully accept the consequences of that and protect myself accordingly

In both instances no one who comes here for support should be forced to explain or justify their choice, either to their peers or to people clearly seeking to intrude on their private processes for the purposes of judging and provoking an argument

And some of the questions asked clearly have that intent behind them

It is a personal process and what I've learned from this thread is that we all have a variety of approaches to the same thing

I mean something a lay person would call DANGEROUS and MEDDLING would be called potential minor occupational hazard by most of us.

I am working in a coven, as well as doing my own kitchen and hedge witchery. For many years before that, I worked alone, or with other small groups.
My coven isn't like the picture some people have of Wicca, which seems to be of very formal and hierarchical groups (although it is initiatory)....our lot are able and willing to work in various ways and traditions, according to whatever we wish to explore. One of us is keen on crafting, especially for physical manifestations of magic; another likes the Kabbalah; another likes faerie and green magic in the woods. We do Moon magic, scrying and create rituals which honour various deities and elements, as well as following the Wheel of the Year. Tomorrow we're out in the woods, can’t wait... 🧙‍♀️ Although perhaps it's a good idea that I treated myself to a “Barbour” cloak (waxed cotton and waterproof) 🌧
I haven't seen a Miriam Stone before, speakout and I am very taken by it... please let us know how you get on with it.
As for the unrest we all seem to be experiencing.... I had some very strange adrenaline like surges over the last week, like the flight/fight reaction but without the fear or anger... I am usually quite aware of my health and physical sensations, due to my wayward heart rhythms and this was something new. They seem to have stopped now, thank goodness.. but I’m off caffeine for a bit, so I’ll have a mint and lemon tea, please..

I think it's perfectly obvious what you are trying to do and that is to insinuate nefarious behaviour and/or intent which is by nature offensive to the people gathered as that is categorically in contradiction to the spirit and ideology within which processes are undertaken
