Oh, I meant to say that last time, when I couldn’t physically light a candle and join in the connection I still enjoyed taking a few minutes out of my family commitment to tune in and join in energetically. I still felt boosted from the powerful positive energy

If I remember I will join the candle connection. However, I make no promises my memory is a bit shocking.

Speakout you re supporting me, you are helping me. It might not seem like it but there is help hiding in the wisdom here. I just have a perfect storm atm. Medical tests that require me to do things, I would normally avoid because they are bad for me, so I don't mess up the results and I can get a true diagnosis. Car breaking and being off the road when my knee needs rest not more walking on. the situation at home. I need to stop being so horrible to myself, start respecting myself and look after the me as I am now. I am terrible at that.

Being faced with things that make you think, challenge your perspective whilst are difficult if you do give them the brain space can be very good. And the discussions of the other night are rattling around my sub concious. WHen it is ready it will spit it out for me to actively reflect on. I have no idea how others can help tbh but that is what I am thinking on the if this was someone else what would I tell them thing.

In the meantime I slept pretty much all of yesterday. And the plan for today is what needs to be done for the week to run smoothly and rest.

I'm also in for candle connection :)

I've seen it suggested before that birthday candles are ideal for small candles for candle magic, could those who can't technically burn candles in their homes use them?

CANDLE CONNECTION

Today 20th Jan, near sunset- 5pm, for an hour, or whenever you can join us.

Sorry for short notice, but everyone is welcome to join.

For newcomers this is something we have done before as a way of connecting with each other on this thread.
We light a flame, a votive, a candle at the same agreed time- through that flame a single flame unites us as one poweful flame, we can share the community through living flame.

We will create energy and share to those that want rejoice in the power of our community., honour each other and the sacred space we share here.

We will aim to heal spirits and bring peace and support to each other.
As we move towards Ibmolc I will be thinking about the power of fire, of new life, new beginnings and new hope.

If you can't physically burn a candle then you can join us with a virtual candle- there are a few on you tube .
Or just take a few moments to tun your thoughts towards us as we think of you.

If you would like to post a pictire of your candle that would be fantastic.

@YashmisCrone.. I'll try that thank you. I'm guessing it's important for our development but I just recoil at the thought of myself (or anyone else for that matter) showing sympathy to me. It's why I've resisted therapy or counselling.

I'll try to connect mentally with you all for the candle meditation but I'll be in a restaurant so may not be possible.
