I'm still here, Melsy - just!! Sorry you're feeling down and on such a lovely day too -

Helsbels · 30/03/2004 09:58

I think it's helsbels and buckets of tar, papillion - it's what my mum calls me and quite a few other people - most people just call me hels and my dad calls me Janey!!

papillon · 30/03/2004 09:58

are u a kiwi?

Helsbels · 30/03/2004 13:13

who me? No - I'm sitting in Derbyshire! My family are from London and Derbyshire so no exotic connections

papillon · 30/03/2004 13:18

oh.. just that Sibble is in NZ.. but long for the commute then!!

juniper68 · 30/03/2004 17:34

Hi all,
how u doin Melsy? Hope you're feelin better now x
I'm really interested in astrology though not 'up' on it iykwim. I have mercury in gemini and my mam is gemini maybe that's why we clash? Mercury is the house of communication isn't it spacemonkey? Funnily enough, since I found this out I have more patience with her
take care all xxxxxxxxx

spacemonkey · 30/03/2004 17:38

mercury rules gemini and yes it symbolises communication (amongst other things) juniper

you made a good point - astrology can foster much greater understanding and acceptance of personal differences which can only be a good thing!

Not feeling very spiritual today. Too much negative energy is blocking it. I have so enjoyed that spritual connection the last few days. I need to meditate this evening to get it back.

Hiya all spiritual girlies

just starting to calm down now from my terrible day. Does anyone find the residue from negative unblaned days take hours to clear??? What are your tips to help clear it???

OP posts:
papillon · 30/03/2004 18:02

a guy told me once that he sent bad energy away in pink balloons!!

spacemonkey · 30/03/2004 18:03

A shower is supposed to be good for clearing negative energy. Different things work for different people - some find vigorous exercise good, others find meditation/relaxation type things good, so find what works for you

sibble · 30/03/2004 20:41

agree with showers/running water, after a reiki treatment I always wash my hands under running water to help clear negative energy. I also sit in my garden facing the trees and visualise bright light/energy radiating from the land/trees etc and flowing through me taking all the negative energy as it flows through until I can feel it's gone. balloons or 'pac men' can work for some people, like spacemonkey says it's trial and error finding what works for you.
Am off to sit in the garden now, we found my cat and unfortunately he had been run over, further from the house than we thought he would have strayed. DH found him last night so I made the poor bloke go back, bring him home and bury him in the garden. He wouldn't let me look at him, said he looked fine but he had been missing since Friday so .....
Poor DH was a bit distraught by it all, think he only did it becasue I am pregnant and a bit irrational at the moment so DS and i are going to plant some flowers at the site this afternoon... very sad today ......

melsy · 30/03/2004 22:02

Oh Sibble I am sorry . My thoughts are with you. my 2 late dogs have rose bushes above them in my parents garden.

Love and hugs to you Sibble xxxxxxx I'm so sorry to hear you lost your poor cat hun.

lavender1 · 30/03/2004 22:55

Evening all, glad this thread has restarted as fascinated by Astrology, spirituality, healing and obe, ghosts and stuff. Am also Scorpio ascendant, moon in Saggitarius, sun In Pisces and lots of fire in chart? although some days can't even get out of bed...

This speaking in tongues things is intruiging...I did an Alpha course a couple of years ago as wanted to explore more than the day to day existence of life....at the end of every meeting prayers were said and the holy spirit was asked to appear to us all (thought this was a little crazy at first..but someone recited beign able to speak in tongues...)

Feel have a lot of blocked energy as try to get holy spirit to pass through and it never works (now you think am nuts)...am I going crazy or what? anyone experience of this?

lavender1 · 30/03/2004 23:06

have said too much about the speaking in tongues I know but it's true!

papillon · 31/03/2004 07:03

Lavender I did an Alpha course too... because of a boyfriend or I would have never done it. Anyhow I think for me the speaking in tongues success I had was partly due to the fact that when I felt something happening.. I just went with the flow.. it felt right (but strange)

Wots an OBE... something the queen gives out?

oh wait out of body experience... wot was your experience? care 2 share..

papillon · 31/03/2004 07:08

Sibble, I am sadden to hear about the loss of your cat.

I often have had special bonds with cats - one in particular who will always live very close to my heart...

my mum looks after all my cats in NZ!!

((Hug))

melsy · 31/03/2004 08:28

Would like to know more about the ALPHA course??? It sounded religious to me???

blocked energy is usually a sign that that an area needs attention. It may be trapped emotions. But different chakras deal with different types of feelings.Do you have a certain colour you gravitate towards. As this may be the key to which area in your chakras is blocked. For someone reason I am into orange & purple , but also royal blue. Have a look into chakras , it may give you clues as to what area needs healing.

Hoping to have a better day today.

OP posts:
spacemonkey · 31/03/2004 08:57

yes the Alpha course is a christian thing

papillon · 31/03/2004 10:09

Alpha is an introduction course to Christianity.

I found some of quite interesting - some not very appealing. I did not become a Christian as a result.

juniper68 · 31/03/2004 10:24

I'm co/leading a Start course which is a beginners guide to Christianity. I much prefer it to Alpha. The videos are fun and the atmosphere much more informal.
Morning all btw

melsy · 31/03/2004 12:48

Morning all, did someone mention the Kaballah to me ??? I must admit I have not looked into it even though it is part of my religion , which I dont really follow strictly. May be i should have a look. Anyone know about it??

I must say what an amazing day outside, must go and breathe it in today!!!
