Yes she made me drink 2 glasses after the session . I have not drunk much this weekend , except(& dont shout)alcohol. I know, now I realise why I feel so sh*t today. I only had a spritzer yesterday and a glayva last night.

Must go and pur a glass now , of water I mean.

It would be spooky if we all came out as ascendant in Scorpio!!

I have no water in my chart at all. In fact is nearly totally fire. Funny that I don't feel so unbalanced. Actually since becoming a mum don't feel my firey self whatsoever. The profile of Aries parent doesn't ring any bells at all.

Has anyone else felt that their personality has changed since they became a mum?

I've got a Scorpio ascendant too. But they are very common - I can't remember what it's called now, it might be "long ascension" - some signs are in ascension for longer than others, and Scorpio is one of them IIRC.

I think I will have another look there, I cant remember my signs elemant. Is there a parent reading ??

I think parenting has made my personality trates more pronounced.I am more assertive , but that could be my therapy, dont know.

Oh that may be blows my theory. It stated that sojme scorpios have a strong phsychic / spiritual interest. You are well versed in astrology spacemonkey.

The 4th and 10th house are the houses of the father and mother, and the Moon by sign, house and aspect says a lot about your approach to motherhood as well as your relationship with your own mother. Similarly, the Sun indicates relationship with father and approach to fatherhood. The aspect relationship between Sun and Moon apparently indicates the relationship between one's parents. Of course it's a lot more complex than that, but in a nutshell ...

No single "item" in a chart should be taken in isolation. Astrologers talk about looking for repetition to extract the main themes of a chart. This is where a single vibration is repeated in a number of ways. For instance, someone might have Sun in the 3rd house and Mercury in Leo - so there is a repetition of the Mercury/Sun combination. It's a good way of seeing the wood for the trees!

Damn, my brain isn't working today. The point of that last post was to say that Scorpio rising alone wouldn't necessarily indicate an interest in the hidden/occult/depth psychology. But if a person had Scorpio rising AND Mercury conjunct Pluto for instance, the chances are they would have a strong interest in those matters because the theme is repeated.

Did my birth chart on astro.com and apparently I was wrong on the ascending sign and not having any water. It says I am in fact aquarius rising - which should make me more like my aquarius DS I guess - good news!

I find it quite difficult to look at it like that, Im sitting here with my printoff trying to re look at it with your explanation!!! I often fidn it difficult to see the wood for the trees initialy.

Melsy don't worry, I think it's quite normal not to see wood for trees - there are so many things to take in at once.
