Hello - Due to popular demand, I have set up this thread so that MNers can post their prayer requests!! You do not have to be a Christian to post a prayer request, but we Christians believe that prayer really works, so let us pray through a situation for you!! - Let's support and encourage one another through this facility - Here's to many MN prayers being answered!!

Feel crap at the moment. sorry shouldn't say that here. but I am only human. No idea what I'd ask you to pray for specifically. Maybe just to make God seem a bit closer to me at the moment so I can keep it together.

Captain dippy and all- Just to update you, and to say thanks for the efforts but my friends' son passed away during Friday night. Not only that but his grandmother who drove down to see him during that day passed away during Friday night in her sleep. I am not sure how you Christians explain that ; it leaves me utterly bereft and I can only imagine the pain that the family are suffering.

Oh robinpud I am so sorry. No words I can say are going to take yours or the families pain away right now, but will be praying for strength right now. As for how to explain it I can't even begin but all I can say is that Christians are not exempt from disease, hurt, pain but we do believe our God helps us to deal with these situations. ((((((hugs)))))) and prayers of course

Deeply, deeply sorry to hear of this double loss for your friend and for you too.

I would echo Longwaytogo's sentiments, and add that I believe that sometimes He takes people away from even worse suffering to come.

Maybe his gran passed so she could be there as a guiding light for him to look after him. I always believe things happen for a reason. May his family find peace, though it will be hard for them to comprehend at this point.

This so v trivial after robinpuds sad sad news, but I have my driving test on friday..... argh. I would appreciate a little prayer for the hope that i don't keep stakking and messing up manoeuvres.

I am more sorry than I can say Robinpud and I cannot give you any answers. All I know is that God gives us the strength to get through these situations and these times of grief and confusion. I am praying for you and praying sooooo hard for your friend and her family. May they find peace and a light at the end of the tunnel. I am sorry, all I can do I pray and keep giving it all to God. His will. Not mine.

Thanks for the thoughts. The school held a special assembly today and the head is handling it all very sensitively. The family are gathering themselves and trying to plan a celebration of his life.
