Our cat pissed in the air fryer drawer when I left it open for 5 seconds. She likes causing electrical catastrophes and uses the electric plug socket on the wall as target practise.
Last Christmas Eve, the 4 of us had started to watch Elf with hot chocolate, when the power went off. She had pissed on the socket and short circuited the house. DH and I spent the rest of Christmas Eve fixing the socket, drying it out, so that we could have power restored.
I honestly don’t know why she does this. We clean the kitchen like crazy now, just in case the scent is still there.

Yes. I eventually bought those baby covers for all the sockets after realising that wet duct tape just falls off. One year the power went out on New Year's Day; had to have emergency electrician out at double rates to go through entire house testing, to find that DCat had somehow soaked a wall socket hidden behind a heavy bookcase - no idea how he managed it.

My cat jumped on my bed, walked on to my chest, nested for a bit, then turned around and scent marked IN MY MOUTH.
I win.

Not sure this counts as a 'win' exactly, but yes - you win.

Gosh, I keep thinking of more, sorry. You couldn't leave a cup of tea or a glass of water sitting out in our house as DCat would find it, drink the water (sometimes shoving his head all the way down into a tall glass - amazing he never got stuck) and wash his paws in the tea.

You had a duck filled kitty puss.

As a kid we had a golden retriever that loved used underwear and would steal p[ants and chew them up.

My cat sat in a paint roller tray full of white paint, then ran up five flights of stairs, stopping occasionally for a bit of a drag and a shake. Then dragged his bottom across the new stone bathroom floor - fortunately already sealed! So lucky that we were around when this happened, if it had dried into the carpet we would never have got it out.

Another one. As a teenager we adopted two rescue cats a young mother and her son (who was still a kitten). We had a fish pond which had lots of frogs. The pair of them took to catching the frogs and bringing them inside. It became a normal occurrence to walk into a room and find one or more frogs hopping around. Myself, my sister and my Dad found it amusing. We would catch the frogs and put them back next to the pond. My Mum was less keen (she also doesn't have the best eyesight). One time she walked into the kitchen and said who left this teabag on the floor. I was behind her and tried to warn her, but unfortunately not in time. The panic when the teabag hopped at her 😂.

I paid to have a large hardstanding laid to put a shed on and for parking in the back garden. It was quite a large area.

The builders left with the concrete still setting, looked lovely and smooth.

Later that evening I wandered down to see if it was set and a trail of two sets of cat prints went the whole length of the concrete. They must have done that as soon as the men left.

The culprits 🙄

thinking about it its a wonder i ever have pets.
when i was 6 my dad bought me a spaniel pup who was the best escape artist ever. one day dad built a wire run with zinc coverings to make doubly sure before we went out dad put a lead on the dog inside the large run. got home dog had got into my wendy house ate my library books then opened the front gate going for a nice tour of the neighbourhood! she was a devil dad put concrete down outside the house and there was a paw print of hers in it probably still there she would open the gate and wait by the ice cream van lived until she was 14 lovely dog
one other dog i had a collie x was as soft as anything. one night talking on phone to mum and noticed a live coal roll out of the fire setting dog on fire, she was so dozy just lay there until i smothered the flames with a rug!
i also had a lovely terrier who in life would have been a hippy. she always did her own thing. came down one day she was stood on my coffee table, looked at her to ask what she was exactly doing. she looked at me as if to say mind your own business.
she was as soft as anything never trouble. i lived off an alley way in town no garden but when i was home for lunch i let her out and she would lie by the door sunbathing. one lunchtime i ran upstairs to the loo knowing she would not go off gate at the end of the alley. came down dog gone. i ran round that town like a woman possessed but could not see her. getting back i had a phone call from my vet she was there and kicking up one hell of a racket. a lady passing end of the alley saw her sat there and rushed up picked her up thinking she was a stray yes sat on the doorstep she took her to the vet luckily my vet but obviously she was not amused so kicked up a racket barking until i got there!!
there is more ......

A male cat I had years ago, had a habit of shitting at the bottom of the stairs during the night, so it was always risky going downstairs first thing in the morning. His worse crime was shitting on the inside windowsill(whilst we were out) , and going to sleep right next to it, so all the neighbours could see!
And yes, he had two litter boxes!

Large ginger and white boy cat dragged an enormous raw chicken from next door. I ended up having to pay for it! I cooked it and cut the damaged bits off and we had it for tea. A much smaller cat dragged a guinea pig back......I had to go around the neighbourhood looking for it's owner!

Meezer2 · Today 16:42

My dear departed Siamese Mr Christo crept into my elderly next door neighbours house, Did a shit in his slipper in his bedroom, then went into his kitchen and stole a chicken breast. He was a fucker.

ImWearingPantaloons · Today 16:52

My first cat (RIP you fluffy lump) jumped on my chest whilst I was in bed one morning, then as I yawned proceeded to do a really wet sneeze straight into my mouth.

Hoteletiquette · Today 17:05

So my dog used to come with us to our inter pub games, so each Sunday one of the pubs would host and other pubs would make up teams to play different games and host team would put on refreshments then back to host pub for drinks after. So one week was tug of war, and my dog ran over and pinched the marker sticks and ran away, another week she pinched the football, and another week when we were going pub to pub she ran into local church as doors were open and ran up and down aisles to great everyone, vicor was in a panic as awaiting archbishop to arrive, she was having so much fun but in the end a blind woman caught her! But apart from that she was the most well behaved dog ever.

Thefsm · Today 17:17

My chinchillas. Chewed half the door off a lovely pine wardrobe owned by the landlord. There was no way to hide the damage or remove the wardrobe to replace it as it was too big. I sometimes wonder what on earth he thinks we kept in that room that could chomp half a door away.

needless to say we did not get our deposit back!

Goinworkandgetout · Today 18:10

My dog appears to know when the cat is going for a number 2 in his litter box and will have her mouth as close to his arse as possible so that she can eat it fresh.🤮🤮

Freysimo · Today 19:03

Put a slice of bread in toaster and when it popped up, a dead mouse came with it! I presumed cat had brought mouse in and it had escaped into toaster. I'd frizzled it 😬 I threw toaster out.
