I saw a good typo yesterday. Someone was offering a failing cabinet.

On my PC screen is a thumbnail from something called Daily Wonder, offering "Stunning Drone Views of Cap Ferret" in the South of France.

Sounds more like Yorkshire to me.

There is a Cap Ferret though, as well as the probably better known Cap Ferrat.
However I’m not going to ignore an excuse for doing an image search for ferrets in caps.

I'm sure the images are of Cap Ferrat.

It's not Cap Ferret in any language I know of. It's Cap Ferrat in French and Occitan and Capo Ferrato in Italian

Off to ask AI for pictures of ferrets in caps.

You don't want to hear how I got one lobe piercing that's very fiddly because it's not quite straight all the way through.

@Chersfrozenface Ooo I think one of my pierced ears may have that issue. One sleeper goes in fine and on the other ear it’s a struggle. Makes it very sore x

probably the instance you’ve seen was supposed to be Cap Ferrat but there really is a Cap Ferret near Bordeaux.

I expect it was the Mediterranean one, famous for being a hangout of the wealthy.

Perhaps Bordeaux should be twinned with Halifax! (Sadly, it's twinned with Bristol, for historical reasons.)
