glee? erm i have just watch bring it on again which i think was on viva or something. annoyingly perky cheerleaders. but nothing else on. currently watching sky news and come dancing. forgot matt barker was an ex gymnastic. Gave up on enter the dragon.

TrillianAstra · 02/10/2010 23:17

No no no, Glee is actually good!

mittz · 02/10/2010 23:29

I have watched The Piano Smile, and would also like a Reptile Smile.

I'm OK as long as I don't talk.... Hmm

Have never Glee'd. I am a sour pants where the telly is concerned.

I haven't seen 11.30 for a while.... I want to go to bed but I am huddled and it is cold so going up to the top floor is going to be a mad dash.... Waiting till November to put the heating on might get testy Grin

DS came back from a party and gave me the cake.... he IS a good lad!

Lolled at Trills assessment of Ouch giving birth to a Teenage Ninja wotsit...

TrillianAstra · 02/10/2010 23:31

You need a hot water bottle at least Mittz

OuchPassVodka · 02/10/2010 23:58

Sorry you are feeling so ill mittz. hope you manage to get some rest. No heating on here.

bellavita · 03/10/2010 00:13

Morning Wink

DH took me out tonight - thoroughly enjoyed our sizzling starter to share, then I had a lamb dish with spinach and DH had a thali (lots of little dishes). Don't know what we did, but the manager came over and asked DH if he would like to try more dishes - of course he said yes and then later on the waiter came over and asked if we would like some drinks on the house Grin

When we got home I tried my dress on for DH - his words were "I am not keen, it doesn't show off your figure, the dress just goes straight up and down" He then asked DS1 what he thought - his response was a very nervous giggle Confused. I was so happy with my purchase and now I feel deflated.

Mittz, get better soon.

Ouch, are you any better tonight?

Hi Iggs, Trills, DIB and Reality.

DreamsInBinary · 03/10/2010 00:17

An unusual treat to see Bella and Mittz at this hour Smile

Bella - I love that dress. Very chic.

Off to bed now - Mittz, I hope the dash wasn't too chilly. Agree with Trill - clutching a hot-water bottle may make it less painful.

Night all.

OuchPassVodka · 03/10/2010 00:19

am better bella.
ask DH tomo he might be alcohol fueled and lust driven. he might have a different view tomo.

Sounds like you had an amazing evening. Do you think they thought you were mystery shoppers?

DreamsInBinary · 03/10/2010 00:22

Ouch, I'm sure you should be sleeping young lady...!

Really am off to bed. Night.

bellavita · 03/10/2010 00:29

Maybe Ouch, maybe Grin >

My parents are coming to stay next week so I shall ask my mum's opinion of the dress.

I need to go to bed too.

See you all tomorrow.

P.S. I beat BoF on wwf Shock Grin - quite pleased with myself as I am crap at stuff like that.

OuchPassVodka · 03/10/2010 00:36

Dib, honey, i have been in bed virtually all day. As for sleep, i am just catching up on hignfu on iplayer and then lights are out. promise. Alarm is set for noon.

BitOfFun · 03/10/2010 00:38

Bella- you are dressing for the Style And Beauty crew, not a shag, so worry not Grin

NormaSknockers · 03/10/2010 07:50

Morning all,

Bella pleased to hear you had a lovely evening with DH shame he wasn't complimetary (sp) about the dress. It may not show off your figure in the way he would like it to but are you happy in it? Do you like how it fits? After all you're the one wearing it not DH Wink Besides if he really doesn't like it he can just whip it straight off you once you're home Grin

bellavita · 03/10/2010 08:45

Hello Smile

Thanks BoF and Norma. Yes, I am happy in it and yes, I do like how it fits. So it is sorted then!

Peeing down with rain Sad

Norma, hope your little ones didn't get up as early as yesterday? It does get better as they get older >

I/we did have a lovely evening, but towards the end I said something about our early years together that went down like a bloody ton of bricks and for about 20 mins the atmosphere was not good Sad. We were talking about what might have been if xyz had of happened instead of abc. DH was in partnership with 2 brothers (who I thought took advantage of him - he seemed to always be there working on a weekend when they were at home with their families). The company ran out of money, but they were very close to completing a job which would bring in a lot so we all ended up remortgaging for a cash injection. At the time, I felt I was forced into signing the papers as each DH told their wife that the other two wives were in agreement. He seems too remember it differently, but years ago on a night out when I spoke to the other two they said they thought I was in agreement and that is why they signed and vice versa. The company went tits up and we were left with an extra mortgage on our house at a huge % rate because of why we needed the money. He said last night that he cannot believe I have bore a grudge all these years and he was upset that I had Sad. I was angry at the time, but have never bore any sort of grudge.

bellavita · 03/10/2010 08:54

Blimey, that was an essay Blush

NormaSknockers · 03/10/2010 08:54

I'm sorry Bella :( It's a shame that MrBella thought you were holding a grudge (& tbh I would say you have every right to bear a grudge as it does sound like your hand was forced) Sounds like a horrid situation for you to have been in & I bet deep down MrBella feels bad about it & doesn't like knowing that really you were pushed into doing something you didn't want to do & that's why he got defensive. Not nice though :(

Thankfully the DC slept til 6:30 but I didn't get up til 7 as my other sister (the youngest) had her turn to stay over last & she's still at that age where she loves playing as much as the DC do so I had a sneaky extra half an hour in bed. She's happy though as I've been letting her feast on the brownies Wink

mittz · 03/10/2010 08:58

Agree re the dress with the others Bella... and surely although the meet will be MNers, he doesn't want you looking too sexy GrinWink as he wont be there..

Sad that the night was a little marred. Is it possible that if he was being taken advantage of, the other brothers had actually told him that their wives had agreed, thus he talked to you in good faith not realising that you were both being 'played' as it were...

I feel a little better this morning Smile but ravenously hungry Hmm

OuchPassVodka · 03/10/2010 09:04

starve a fever feed a cold mittz.

gkad you got a bit of a lie in Norma

Sorry the night was marred a bit by ill feeling. it really did sound like you had had an amazing night last night.

the stupid rain woke me up. or should that be the blocked gutters woke me up Hmm nedd to get something done about it. Its like nigra falls outside my window.
I have a dehydration headache :(

bellavita · 03/10/2010 09:04

Thanks Norma and Mittz. I always thought they took advantage of him (he would probably say something totally different) - but it was a long long time ago and perhaps he has just "forgot" how it actually was so to speak...... He was fine after about 20 mins and is "normal" today.

Glad you got a lie in Norma - makes your day so much nicer when you haven't been pushed into getting up.

Hope you carrying on feeling better today Mittz and feeling raveously hungry is good - must mean you are on he mend.

VinegarTits · 03/10/2010 09:17

morning, ive had 4 hrs sleep, i had a good night but spent the night fighting of 18 year old kids, my friend is a nightmare of a flirt so attracted a lot of attention which i didnt like so was quite rude at times and had to tell a few dickheads young men to fuckoff leave us alone Hmm

and then she goes and lets some 18 year boy who she works with, give us a lift home FFS, he had been texting her all night (she told me he has a big crush on her) and she wasnt discouraging him FFS (she has 2 kids and a DP) i ended up whistling the tune to Mr Robinson as i was sat in the back, while she was flirting in the front

now i remember why i very rarely go out drinking with her

VinegarTits · 03/10/2010 09:18

i still managed to play my turns at WWF though when i was in the pub Grin
