hello all you lovelies.

just popped on to brag about my beautiful baby girls birthday. She was 6 yesterday but was at her dads. it is the first time either of them has been away in their birthdays, it was painful.

But we got her back today and had a pink princess tea party. it was lovely. I made her a triple choc sparkle cake, heart shaped sandwiches, strawberry fairy cakes and every other pink or princess themed food i could find.

we had balloons and banners and dangley sparkly things.
it was absolutely lovely.

but i ate lots of cake Blush

feel a bit sicky now.

It is mine and DS birthday on wednesday and he wants to go to pizza hut. so not a good week for the diet but hey, who cares.

bellavita · 19/09/2010 22:00

Gigiiiiiiiiiiii Smile hello.

Sounds like a great day. You must let me have the recipe for the cake.

We have another recruit for the mn do - Fanny (FiveGoMadinDorset).

Hi Gigi :) party tea sounds lovely

Gigantaur · 19/09/2010 22:39

I saw, very pleased to see the addition.

It's just a normal chocolate sponge with white chocolate buttercream filling and same again as a topping only with pink colouring.
then chuck as much sparkley glittery stuff as you can fit Grin

Its great as you can only eat the tiniest amount.

OuchPassVodka · 19/09/2010 22:43

Evening to you all. read through the end of the old thread and all i can remember is there was a lot of cock talk, Shiney has gotten to grips with the apple toys, Bella needs new bedding for her new bed and her ds (2?) had puss in his finger, Hells was back Yippee, Lizzie - liquid gold is a legal high.

As for my weekend, sunday was lovely. good food and company on sunday for lunch. ds did really well with his skiing lesson on sat. I am not supervising next contact visit Bloody hell i need to skate or train or something. I ache.

Alice I have no idea how you manage to do so well. smartly dressed, up and functioning at a pace with a 4wk old. Made me feel right scruffy in my slobby jeans and tatty hoodie Blush:o

VinegarTits · 20/09/2010 00:01

making my place, that cake sounds fab gigi, night

DreamsInBinary · 20/09/2010 00:15

Hey Gigi, nice to see you back. And Hells!

Ironing done, and more bloody name-tags attached. I do not feel grown-up enough to be sewing/ironing on name-tags.

OuchPassVodka · 20/09/2010 00:36

reminds dib she was legally clubbing at the hacienda Wink

Lizzylou · 20/09/2010 07:55

Morning all

Am ignoring my boys who are running wild and NOT getting dressed as they should be.

Your DD's Princess Party sounds fab, Gigi.

I wondered about legal highs, are popper's considered to be legal highs like that Miaow stuff then? Geez.

Feel fat and bloated but that could be the amount of food I am consuming and lack of strenuous exercise, not feeling very motivated at the moment.

Alicetheinvisible · 20/09/2010 08:09

Morning Smile

Don't be daft Ouch! I am only wearing stuff that fits at the moment! The skirt was a maternity one that the lovely Helles gave me (so obviously smart) I usually look very similar to my daughter (minus the Peppa pig wellies!) Grin

Poor F is v colicky this morning Confused

Will try to be back later...

OuchPassVodka · 20/09/2010 08:26

I think poppers are actually illegal. but no idea. Must throw boy into clothesw and out the door. just woken up and we are late.

I think poppers are very low class drugs (i believe)

Hello everyone (a proper hello this time)

Just had grilled bacon, grilled tomato and scrambled egg for breakfast (kind of felt like i needed it this morning, plus DD had already put her order in for dippy egg)

So, is this still about healthy eating/weightloss?
I am now 11st7, need to get below 10st, want to get to 9st7 with a waist no more than 30inches. However i am rubbish at dieting (it is so soul destroying) so i am going to try to be sensible, cut down on the amount of carbs i eat (not cut out, just try to have something other than bread or potato occasionally) Also still wearing the pedometer. That has been a bit a shock tbh, as i thought i was active. The average no of steps people do in a day is 6000, you should aim to be doing 10,000, i am averaging about 4000, yesterday despite being on my feet most of the day i did less than 2000 Shock so that is another goal and something that is acheivable i think with 2 dc.

Sorry, am boring myself now

Have a good day lovely ladies Smile

Lizzylou · 20/09/2010 09:26

I know when I was a student you could only get poppers from sex shops, didn't think they were illegal (though sniff too many and you get a very flaky and sore nose Wink).

Alice, you've just had a baby, no rush! You sound very sensible though.

Bella, I think I have had too much bread recently, has blown me up like a whale.

mittz · 20/09/2010 09:27

Blinding title there Bella Grin

Doesn't seem to matter what you wear though Ouch, we are plagued by winky men where ever we go when you are here Grin you effervesce youthful charm xx

Colic is the pits Alice, for Baby and Mum and Dad.. DS was plagued by it ans I was SO good with my diet.

Hey Lizzy. I am in a similar place. I am drawing a line and going back to the Docs though. Have had enough now. I am going to take steps to detox this week, I've done it all before so need to tackle what is holding me back.

OuchPassVodka · 20/09/2010 09:31

Right this is getting rediculous. its another monday morning. i didnt sleep properally last night again all i want to do is go back to bed again I feel sluggish and achy and yucky again i need to do something to sort this out. today is not a good day to be strict. i think i might cry. stupid thing is that i didnt even drink that much caffine yesterday.

Right then need to sort out my to do lists and everything out. I think i am going to stand under shower to wake up, then sit and bed and do logistical organisation. and such like. Watch this space i might be organised by the end of the day. Hmm

OuchPassVodka · 20/09/2010 09:37
Blush

Lizzy i think they changed the legislation a while back. They were illegal when i encountered people who used them. But half of the legal highs are being made illegal at rather a rapid rate atm.

bellavita · 20/09/2010 10:06

Lizzy, me too with the bread. My intake has crept up and up. I have had two slices of oatmeal bread this morning, toasted with marmite on Blush. The last two slices have now been eaten so no more bread!

Alice, sounds a very sensible idea.

My boys had Nigella's donut french toast this morning with a pile of strawberries on the side. It looked delicious Envy

S'pose I had better go and get my shower now, need to wash my hair too and I have to leave for work at 11.00am.

fab title bellaGrin

Gigi - that sounds like a party little mini would love! Its her birthday in december, and she wants a party to invite all her nursery friendsShock I am toying with the idea of hiring a hall and bouncy castle, then maybe playing games or something - but may take the easy option and go for soft playHmm But whatever we do, she will insist on it being pinkGrin

Grin

Ouch, so sorry you are feeling bad, good luck with your day of organisingSmile

Alice - i second Lizzy, you sound so sensible - make sure you take dieting steadySmile

Dib - i bought those name tags you bought too ages ago, mini loves having her name sewed in with a pink pussy cat labelGrin Nursery are that impressed, they are insisting asking other parents to do the same!

Well, i am feel a bit very empowered this morning. After a tough weekend, due to pa letting me down and cancelling very last minute again, i have telephones the support agency and talked things over with them. As that is the latest in a long line of problems, we have decided to let her go. So, i feel very relieved that this wont descend into monthes of unhappiness like the last one. I have also just walked very briskly on the treadmill for an hour, which i havent done for ages. And finally, and junior is being a right pain at the moment, i have removed the sky viewing card from her bedroom That is on top of already having her laptop removed.

But, hey ho - she will learn not to chuck items about in temper, right?Hmm

Hells am going to repost your message as have asked yours to be deleted along with the other ones that link the old and name names i have. Hoping HQ are on the ball this morning.

hellsbelles Mon 20-Sep-10 10:38:21

jet - well done for sorting PA issue and yeah to treadmill. What's this chicken casserole recipe you mention?

Vinny - oh la la - very glam. I haven't yet managed jumpsuits but a lot of ladies on the S&B sight have with great success. Only question (from a soft southerner)...won't you bit a little chilly in Dec?

Bella have you got the new Nigella book? It's totally wonderful. I am so sad - I have read it cover to cover already!

Gigi - isn't it weird how families often have birthdays so close together. For our lot it's Jan & May. Your little girl's birthday sounds a perfect 6 year old day.

Alice - are you breastfeeding? It's tricky to diet if you are.

Lizzy - what's this with the popper talk? Are you all getting them in for the MN christmas do wink

hellsbelles · 20/09/2010 10:55

so sorry. What a wally. only back a day or so and already making trouble. I'll report my post as well to speed things up.
