Hello Grin

OP posts:
mittz · 20/09/2010 15:22

Ooohh.. tis a swishy Russell Hobs in black and purple with huge water tank and 1/2 price....

I don't floss my teeth every day and miss the odd shower but am very happy with my new iron and am ridiculously eager and excited keen to try it.. Smile

I am ooold Hells so need all the support I can get. This one is very conducive to falling asleep on but hurts my joints to relax in. And it's 8 1/2 ft so in out puny front room it dominates. Might donate it to top gear for one of their mad experiments.

There was also a huge reduction section of those nice soups and some half decent ready meal things so I have a fullish freezer Smile and treated myself to a lovely chrysanth.. (have been given a wee bonus HmmSmile)

DD's at Dance'singing group tinight so I will be out later..

Now to play with my new toyyyyyyyy ....

mittz · 20/09/2010 15:24

And I hate throws on (my) sofas, they look great on other peoples and when you first put them on but wind up as flipping tents of a crumpled heap stuck inbetween cushions and make me irrationally !

OuchPassVodka · 20/09/2010 15:49

If it makes you feel any better vinny. I am ironing whilst flitting around mn Grin you just dont hang out of the flying threads. You'd be considered perfectly normal on those fronts over there

Bugger didnt hit post again Blush

why wont my computer post my posts? i have tried three times Confused

VinegarTits · 20/09/2010 15:57

are you not ironing while flossing then Grin

there are lots of digs at us always being in active convos on that thread

OuchPassVodka · 20/09/2010 16:15

Aye but there are a lot of the other threads being muttered about. we are only there simply because we like a real good natter Grin best reason in the world imo

Grin at shiney.

Can i just say life is bloody fantastic atm!!!!

hellsbelles · 20/09/2010 16:46

jac - the shiney one speaks the truth about bleeding gums. I get the bleeding too but if I persevere for a bit it stops after a few days.

OPV - how fantastic! Can you elaborate?

Mitts - you are NOT old!

Jaquelinehyde · 20/09/2010 16:49

Would it? I did try for a week or so before but it didn't stop. Also how do you get to the teeth right at the very back of the mouth, I can never get floss between teeth back there. (eek scared I will be told off for not flossing now) I can already tell Shiney was tilting her head towards me with raised eyebrows whilst she said that!

And yes I'm back, now I am sorted, everyone paid back, kids at school ad I'm on my feet.

i only floss between the teeth where the floss fits, i figure if the floss dont fit there is no room for food to get stuck

im starting to realise how anal i am about sure stuffGrin

VinegarTits · 20/09/2010 17:02

oh fuck that was ment to be 'anal about this stuff' and a Blush

Jaquelinehyde · 20/09/2010 17:06

Oh and I meant to post this earlier (I'm sure I did but apparently not)

I started my diet last Monday and stayed away from here as I needed to get to grips with it in reality instead of just talking about it...and it appears to have worked.

I weighed in last week at 26stone 7 and 1/2lbs, I weighed myself today and I am now 25stone 9 and 3/4lbs. Which by my calculations make it a 12 and 1/2lb weight loss for this week.

Please tell me I have worked that out right?

Today I began to add a little bit of exercise into the mix, just gotta keep plodding on.

Jaquelinehyde · 20/09/2010 17:10

I shall have a look for them next time I'm in town Shiney, and let you know if it helps.

I have just finished having work done on my teeth so want to look after them the best I can. Also at my next check up we are going to discuss bleaching my teeth which I am mega excited about, as I have a grey/off colour tooth at the very front from where I smashed it out when I was younger and had it capped.

VinegarTits · 20/09/2010 17:10

wow jaq that is bloody fabulous!

bellavita · 20/09/2010 17:11

Hello Smile

Acksherly, my dentist said you need the correct size of interdental brushes to fit different gaps. I have pink, blue, yellow, green and purple and they all have a place.... You can bend the brushes Jaq to get to the gaps at the back.

Well done on the weight loss Jaq.

OP posts:
jetcat · 20/09/2010 17:12

yay Jaq - thats a great lossSmile And, may i say, well done for posting you weight - as i know that was a huge step for meBlush Suppose i had better make a bigger effort as well thenGrin

Jaquelinehyde · 20/09/2010 17:13

Or is it 12 and 3/4 lbs?

bellavita · 20/09/2010 17:13

MrB has informed me we are going out for tea..

New ring last week, sex this morning and now tea out tonight > wonder what he is after... Grin

OP posts:
Jaquelinehyde · 20/09/2010 17:15

Oooh get Bella competing for the dental queen crown Grin

Thank you on the congratualtions, about bloody time really.

Jet I thought I may as well post it up, makes it feel more real, also helps people understand my massive weight loss numbers in the first few weeks.

BelfastBloke · 20/09/2010 17:15

Evening all. Nice to see you.

Tuning in for dental advice. How much does bleaching teeth cost?

Turns out red wine, Guinness and copious quantities of coffee can have an effect ...!?

What are 'the twisluts", Shineon?

Lizzylou · 20/09/2010 17:19

Yay for Jac, that is brilliant, am so pleased that you've got your money now as well Smile

I am off to gym tonight to work off anger and aggression.

Both boy's Teachers had words about their behaviour to me at pick up. The shame! Have never had "the word" after school before, but both on same day!!! DS1 for distracting others and DS2 for overly boisterous behaviour. They are up the chimney as we speak and after that they scrub the bathrooms with a toothbrush.

Bloody urchins Angry Blush

Oh and why can't people just hide threads and stop with the sniping? I find 80% of MN duller than dishwater/beyond wierd I just don't post, s'not bloody difficult.

I am in a bad mood, can you tell????

OuchPassVodka · 20/09/2010 17:32

Is that all Lizzy? [ds] when you get told that ds escaped school grounds and is on on straight to headmistress report for throwing stones at the teachers car then you can be very BlushAngry. Today's was is it normal for ds to climb 6ft into a tree and launch himself out of it. Grin not sure how a tree is different to a bedroom window so nope pretty normal. The school are giving the kids access to the new climbing equipment tomo. they felt it wise to bring it forward before the official launch friday and have banned all tree climbing.Grin Ds, it has to be said throughly enjoyed his tree launching adventures

Hells- today i felt like i was driving the rollarcoaster and capable of taking a few gentler routes. Been a long time since i last felt that. Normally its a case of riding whatever route the rollercoaster takes as i fell like i am blindfolded and stuck.

when i feel like that i can get off the roller coaster then i think we need a party Grin

OuchPassVodka · 20/09/2010 17:35

[ds]?!? Grin ALthough for boys that are fairly well behaved compared to the pyscho i can understand your mood.
