myjob: ooooooooooooooops! I was sure I triple checked to be sure I sent the right dress to the right person, and I didn't! You do have the larger dress, which I thought I sent to 4! So, you've got the size 2y and 4 will be getting yours, which is size 1y! I feel so silly! And I always manage to get nappies sent to the right person! LOL

thebluefoxategreensocks · 29/12/2009 16:51

but awww, pics are cute, I must say! And it doesn't look huge at all. So probably as I was thinking, you could buy a larger size to wear as a bit longer dress, and it would fit for a while. Wonder how tiny the size 1 will be for 4's dd tho! lol

I'm working on ideas tho...have in mind to do some solid colour (or something with small prints) and then do some sort of either applique or pocket out of a designer fabric, like Alexander Henry or Michael Miller. I love their fabrics, but would be very pricey to have the whole dress out of that fabric. So I thought maybe a small applique from it on a solid colour dress might be an idea! Found this website last night with fab fabrics! www.gagafabrics.co.uk/ tho you can get similar fabrics on ebay too.

I've bought me an overlocker (for doing the raw edges more quickly than my sewing machine can do)! Spent my pennies from selling my Bedbugs! And after spending 100+ quid on the overlocker....I've kindly been offered a Pfaff brand one from someone on Freecycle! So I'll have 2 overlockers now...tho maybe I should re-sell the one I bought off ebay, if I like the free one OK, as it's a very good brand.

Great news about your sister Jenny. Phew!

mumFrostyface · 29/12/2009 18:00

Hi bagpuss We would love to help you choose some more fluff for DT's

myjob Itti's posted today

Octo Am looking to get some more Snugglepants (2-3yrs/9-18month) When will the next lot be in? Am going next size up with Connor the 6-12 months fit perfectly now, but can't see them lasting long lol. His toes are at the end of his 6-9month sleepsuits already and he's only just 6 months!
He cut his first tooth yesterday.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 29/12/2009 19:29

tree: Yes, the Bedbug has arrived back to snowy Scotland! Thanks! And chocolate too - yummy! The parcel had come open, but amazingly the contents were still inside in the carrier bag. So all is good! Thanks! x

Scotia · 29/12/2009 19:46

Hi all

Myjob, poor N. Hope she's better soon.

Rachel, the dress looks great. Good luck with those, I'm sure you'll sell a bundle if you decide to go for it.

Octo, our flongies arrived today, and they are lovely but quite a bit too big. I'm wondering whether to swap for a medium, or do you think they would be too neat a fit? He's 11 months now and probably about 22lbs or so. He's quite slim and only has 8 1/2" inside legs atm. Is there much difference in the width between medium and large?

Jenny, glad things look ok for your sister. And if anyone has been blabbering off topic on this thread recently, it's me. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't had you guys for a bit of support when my nana died. Of course the family was all together, but having you as online friends was a great comfort.

Oh and welcome Bagpuss, look forward to getting to know you (and your nappy likes and dislikes) on here

Hi to Tree, Daisy, Sal, Mumface, and happy birthday to Elouise, Jenny.

Hopefully not missed anyone

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 29/12/2009 20:19

Thank GOD it was ok!! DId I wrap it ok, I thought I wrapped it ok. Blimey.

I want some of snugglepants

Octo - put before and after, to make a link.

www.flickr.com/photos/44375672@N07/4225539945/ Hope it works!!

If you put hope it works in the brackets it gives the link a name.

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 29/12/2009 20:20

Yay!! It worked. They are lovely woolies! Spend £50 of my Christmas pressi money on dd1 shoes today, or probably would have got some. Bummer her feet have to grow.

mumFrostyface · 29/12/2009 20:44

I got the flikr link to work, but can't get the other ones from Etsy to work.

4CALLINGBIRDSandnotout · 29/12/2009 20:57

Rachel & Myjob* The dress hasn't arrived here yet but what i can do is quickly try it on DD4 who is now in 6-9 or 9-12 clothes and take some piccies for you so you can judge sizes then i'll whip it off her smartish and repost on to myjob, does that sound like a plan? I will need to probably have both sizes when you start mass production as i'd love them to have matching and a age 4-5 if possible too for dd2[cheekymare emoicon]

Tree sorry didnt manage to get to bank today Can i pp thursday when i get paid?

Jenny Im keeping everything crossed for your sister and nephew, and many happy returns to big girl Elouise.

Octo my flongies have washed up lovely and we have had numerous compliments on them.

Anyway i'd best go and sort out the dd's for bed!

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 29/12/2009 21:16

Yes of course 4. No problemo.

helloo am going to practice linking for a bit - bear with me lol!!! The etsy ones may not work as I have bought them and have previews on her stock which no-on else can see. ((secret fluff))) hee hee

Scotia - happy to exchange for medium - have nearly sold out already so will need to check stock. Stock in ds3 room so will need to meaure up in the morning.

Did a stock check today - the pink boxes were very sueful with the labels on but have way too many ME covers!

whoknOCTOverthewine · 29/12/2009 21:46

useful lol

mumFrostyface · 29/12/2009 21:51

Octo love those flikr Snugglepants, fancy the largest for Lewis. Have E-mailed u. Not sure whether to get sage green cable knit ones for connor or wait and see the others. Could even get them matching pairs. My xdh used to hate it when I put the eldest 2 in matching outfits!
Anyway I am celebrating today, solicitor has close our divorce case now, done and dusted financial papers now too. What a relief, has been going on for 2 years!

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 29/12/2009 21:57

Congratulations mumface!

Octo - am drooling at the snugglepants. One of these days......

whoknOCTOverthewine · 29/12/2009 21:57

a virtual cheers to mumface for divorce - hmm I feel macthing trousers, tshirts, jumpers, hats and the whole caboodle coming on! I get mine matching stuff - more tricky now as ds1 is 8, ds2 is 6 but in age 7 stuff and ernie is only two so very little matches now but ds1/2 get alot of matching things - I find it easier to put them in matching things when we go to somewhere busy so I can spot them and know what they have on if I lose one!!!
