4: Yes, that sounds a good idea, thanks! I just feel bad for the mix-up, but at least you're both able to see both sizes! At the moment my pattern is only for sizes 1-2-3-4 , but I might be able to enlarge it a bit for a bigger size than 4 (though 4 isn't tight on Abigail) - but I'm no pro at pattern alterations - only making things longer! LOL So, I need to get down to making a small starter stock of them! Want to have a wee stash of ready made ones before I go "live"! Obviously, I do already have the 2 in size 4y that Abigail tried on for me - and I have more of those fabrics for doing some smaller sizes too. As well as a green/purple tie-dyed like the yellow/blue she was wearing. But I think I want a selection of about 12-15 dresses before I'm "open".

Don't really know what price would be fair for these, as ideally I want something inexpensive enough for people to be able to buy without breaking the bank! But then a few pounds for my time, right?! I was thinking around 10 quid for a dress - does that sound too much, or about right? I haven't really shopped for much wahm stuff so don't know going prices! Maybe if I did some with designer fabric appliques/pocket, say 12 pounds for a dress?

So just waiting for my overlocker to arrive (which was posted today!) so I can get sewing!

tree: I think it was the cello tape that came unstuck. I do find quite often that it looks like parcel is quite securely closed, but cello tape can easily come off certain surfaces (and some bubble bags seem keen to let the tape go! lol). But no worries, all was well in the end!

Fab product for the sellers www.sockons.co.uk/product.html I love the new trainer range

whoknOCTOverthewine · 29/12/2009 22:59

Are they socks to keep socks on?! Clever!

Rachel - the lady who makes pumpkin pants and the monkeyfoot lady both do clothing in the alexander henry and amy butler fabrics - they look really cute - not something I plan to sell on but could see there would be a good market for them here.

Am catching up with spooks on iplayer!

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 29/12/2009 23:02

Yes octo - they are like little garters. They work a dream, and would be mega cheap to post out. Cunning! I really like the new designs and the cards, but can't find them stocked anywhere!! Mothercare and JoJoMamanBbe do them but just plain. Can you stock them so I can buy them? Cheers!

Scotia · 29/12/2009 23:40

Thanks Octo, if you can let me know measurements tomorrow I can make up my mind Has anybody from this thread bought the medium size? Just trying to guage similar age/size.

Sockons - K had these (not the trainer ones though) and we had loads of comments and interest wherever we went. Would have been delighted if they had been more widely available.

Hi to kmummy and 4

whoknOCTOverthewine · 30/12/2009 00:03

Everyone has large! Do have some medium - nearly sold out completely of longies in 4 days More on order though and Nappyshed/Babybots will have stock.

Hello kmummy - hope you are okay.

Sockons just up my street lol but am planning on just doing stuff I distribute - will find out more and let you know though!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 30/12/2009 00:38

Octo - are you getting any other designs of the longies? I want some flongies but to be honest there wasn't any on there that I really liked . Sorry hope that didn't sound rude, as obviously lots of people must love them as you have done so well with them, but just that there isn't any for us iyswim? Was looking for something a bit less bold iyswim? So they would go with anything? But still a bit girly at the same time? Think I am too fussy and need custom made things lol.

whoknOCTOverthewine · 30/12/2009 00:46

Do you mean wool or fleece? Woolly ones- I have a couple of nice pink stripe ones or can ask her to make something if you let me know the colours - fleece - you can have just about anything!! Will go and see what is available and let you know!

whoknOCTOverthewine · 30/12/2009 00:50

Jenny - have just done a custom order of these for someone on CNT in fleece longies rather than soakers and they were really nice www.nappywardrobe.co.uk/ourshop/prod_618171-Pumpkin-Pants-Fleece-Soaker-Blue-Retro-Flowers.html

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 30/12/2009 00:52

whoknOCTOverthewine · 30/12/2009 01:00

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 30/12/2009 01:10

I'd like any of them Suppose pink best. I like them all though Aren't they funky? I think the new baby cards with them on are pure genius!

whoknOCTOverthewine · 30/12/2009 01:10

MNHQ - apologies for linking frenzy! Taken me 3.2 years to figure it out

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 30/12/2009 01:12

When you link to such lovely stuff, how can they blame you?

whoknOCTOverthewine · 30/12/2009 01:12

Yes - def a good little pressie. Haven't seen them at baby shows before but she obvisouly does the trade shows as she has won their awards.

Off to bed now - look at the time!

whoknOCTOverthewine · 30/12/2009 01:13

Hmm am thinking there may be a delete-fest in the morning
