ds3 got stung by a wasp on both hands and had to go to doctors - poor little man - keeps saying 'wash hands mummy' and 'ouch mummy kiss' - only rang them to ask them what to put on the stings and they said come in - gave him piriton and some low level HC cream (I think!). The swelling has gone down but really must have hurt - he was playing with his trains just outside the front door when there was this enormous scream and hysterical crying - a slightly squashed wasp next to his trains gave it away! Hopefully he will be happier in morning.

The UD handpainted is in the wash tonight - will do another prewash tomorrow and let you know how it goes! Do you think rikki or air rika??? shame to put a cover over it!!!

treedelivery · 05/08/2009 22:38

Oh my! The wasp are awful at the mo, and we are invaded with hover flies which aren't as bad. But there are 1000's of them.

Hope he's ok. Poor little man.

Am away tomorrow so prob not about again till Friday sometime. Hope we still exist then Have registered with facebook.

octo about wasp stings. I got stung/biten by something the other day and it hurt! I duno what it was though - just looked a bit like a funny sort of fly, felt it biting my wrist so went to flick it off but it was stuck inside my skin and it took a good few hard flics to get it off! Still have a lump/scab and that was on sunday

treedelivery · 05/08/2009 23:38

I have red, purple and ivory in medium - use your MN discount code MNOCTO for them - on mine, not main lollipop site.

I read on CNT that the coolababy nappies are quite good - cheap feeling but do the job - anyone got one???

Octothechildherder · 06/08/2009 19:24

boosters not on site but do have them

JennyPenny22 · 06/08/2009 20:37

Octo - my internet is playing up - how much are ittis on your site after discount and how much is postage? Can't decide if I should get some more!

Octothechildherder · 06/08/2009 21:10

£13.25 with 10% off and postage is free on all nappy orders in august

mumface · 06/08/2009 21:29

Just had an Itti shopping spree: midnight, lavender, chocolate, yellow, fushia. I wanted all my missing colours!
Anyone else would put pink on a boy? I'd hate to miss a colour on the rainbow.
Or will it scar him for life...

JennyPenny22 · 06/08/2009 21:32

I don't know if I have won the pop and grow on CNT or not? The competition was meant to be for 5 days but it has now been 6 and still seems to be open?! I am winning at the moment and have been the whole way through but nobody seems to close it? I did reply to the thread earlier but no reply yet?

rusmum · 06/08/2009 21:32
