Tree - love the ear muff image! they would make lovely pillows actually. Maybe when I'm done with them I'll keep them and use them for car pillows or camping or something!

Today I am having a pop n grow day - I've got three now, and seem to be a bit addicted to them as they dry so fast they almost just get washed and go back on. I think DH likes them too (he's lazy he likes all-in-ones...)

JennyPenny22 · 03/08/2009 12:18

Baron - I like AIOs as I am lazy but we havent found any that are absorbant enough yet!

BaronConker · 03/08/2009 14:39

The 'he's lazy' bit was supposed to be crossed through - can't work out how to do that! TBH, I'm lazy too, and if I could find an AIO that was as absorbent and reliable as a 2-parter I'd use it all the time. But I haven't. I use Easyfits and Pop n gros but generally stick to them just for out and about and short periods of time - the 2-hour stretch up to bathtime etc...

TheNatty - CRAP! I forgot Too late now It will be off tomorrow. I'll try make the packet letterbox size

My berryplush came from the sale - Oh oH oH.Now that meets some nappy need in me. Far and away the softest softest lovliest fabric yet. If I can keep the inserts that soft then I'll be sold and it will be my fav. I got the orangey/peachy/red [same colour as her hair] and green. I still need a block green colour nappy but thi comes pretty close. No insert with that as she had none, but hey ho. It makes a fab wrap if I can't find an insert for it.

Jen - what you thinking for the liners. I was just thinking I could do with some more............

treedelivery · 03/08/2009 18:20

Please can I ask your opinions on night nappies? Ordered an Ella's House and tried it last night and it worked pretty well. I have been wondering about ordering a Upsy Daisy to try but they are quite expensive. Are they worth it or is there anything else I should try? DS is a really heavy wetter at night.

TheNatty - I have just got a couple of large Itti's for DS. He is 12 months and pretty sturdy (10kgs) and is on the second tightest poppers on his large. The rise is very low but I've had no leaks today despite a long nap on his tummy after a big feed!

TheNatty · 03/08/2009 22:15

yes UD def the best night nappy, i think most on here would agree, get the SOY ones tho.
dont bother making them pretty, cheap and cheerful as they go under a wrap anyway, and being a night nappy no one else sees it.

BumFluff are having a closing down sale. I think they are nearly all gone though. I'd buy all they had - I lurrrve them!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 03/08/2009 23:25

I think I will get one - just tried to look on the website but I can't see to bring up any plain nappies - only hundreds of designs. I think I am too tired, will try again tomorrow!

treedelivery · 03/08/2009 23:38

Ok people.

We are needing fancy dress, and the family will be the Flintstones. So I need somesort of animal print nappy for Pebbles, aka dd2.

Has anyone got anything at all that would do? She's 14lb, a sml/med/lrg just depends on the nappy.

I really want to buy a BerryPlush leopard print - but it's not my usual thing so am trying to be good

AM hoping someone has something fairly cheap-ish that would be good for such an event?

JennyPenny22 · 03/08/2009 23:41

I won 4 cloth san pads from the CNA competitions! 1 Wn and 3 Bambeaneo.

Didn't win any nappies but can't complain!

Everything is still crossed for the pop and grow on CNT! I am still winning so far! But still a few days left.

JennyPenny22 · 03/08/2009 23:43

I have the option to buy 2 bamboo MEOS for £14 - what do we think? Worth it? I love my cotton MEOS but don't like cotton - need more softeness and absorbancy! But the fit of the cotton ones is great on both the girls! Probably a lot less bulky than BBH

JennyPenny22 · 04/08/2009 10:33

Natty - I meant to say yesterday but forgot - The ittis last a lot longer than they look like they will. When I opened the large for Elouise I thought there was NO WAY it would fit Elouise, and nearly didn't even bother trying it. But it does. It fits nicely and not on the tightest setting either. I know 4's DD is still in mediums and I think she is about 9 months? (Might be wrong). Elouise isn't likely to grow out of her large anytime soon. I love them because normal clothes fit nicely over the top.

mumface · 04/08/2009 11:33

The Natty I use Large Itti's on my 6 week old & my 2 year old. They are 10lb & 28lb. They are on tightest poppers on waist on Connor(6wks) which is a good fit, bit of a gap on leg which leaks only with massive poo's.On Lewis they fit like pants & I put in the extra Bamboo snap in.But not worth me buying any more sm or med ones!
I'm getting one a week till I have every colour Xcept pink ones.I want lilac think I can get away with that on a boy!

swampfire · 04/08/2009 11:50

My six-month-old has his small Itti on - not even on the tightest setting and it fits really well. He also wears large sometimes but I dread a poo in large. Didn't get an in medium in the end.

mumface · 04/08/2009 12:42

Sounds like all sizes fit a wide range, just with a different fit. I have just ordered a BBH minky in medium Dew.
What would b your fantasy nappy order if money were no object?
Don't think I could choose between an Itti,or a BBH in every colour.

swampfire · 04/08/2009 12:59

I prefer Ittis to BBH minkies but I think I would have dozens of Bedbugs and fluff like that...

JennyPenny22 · 04/08/2009 13:08

Mumface - surly you could save a fair bit on postage if you were to buy all in one go?

mumface · 04/08/2009 13:35

I don't have that amount of funds in one go have been buying from Green me at the moment, they do Free P&P for any amount of purchase

afterglow · 04/08/2009 13:36

I always try to price mine on the low side, Tree, so I'm sure that at some point I'll see them relisted for more than I sold them for. I think a cloth nappy isn't as green if it's sitting around unused whereas it could be on another bum earning its keep. I've always got a nagging feeling that they have after all been pooed and weed on, so it would be a bit cheeky asking for too much.

I've just bought a new stash for dd in large after selling most of her mediums. Very pretty. She has some woolly ecobubs, some bright PUL ecobubs, two Magic-Alls, a Bamboo Blueberry, spotty Itti, a couple of Mommy's Touch and a Thirsties AIO. There's a Puddlelkins on order too . Sadly, I'm not loving the Thirsties, I think the Magic-Alls are a much better AIO for us. They are also much easier to boost and to turn iniside-out for drying than the Thirsties.

For fantasy ordering purposes, I would add in several more Magic-Alls, some more Bamboo Blueberries and I would ask Mommys Touch to do some of the gorgeous older prints on their website on their current pockets.

drlove8 · 04/08/2009 13:46

for tree - sale is on! these are fab ... you can use them as an aio or as a wrap over cotton/prefolds/ disposies/shaped.

drlove8 · 04/08/2009 13:48

oops try again http:www.nappyneeds.co.uk/manufacturer/Jamtots
