JennyPenny22 · 04/08/2009 14:13

How much do you pay for ittis on their mumface? I want some more but just worried about the ££

BaronConker · 04/08/2009 16:01

twoclimbingboys are you still selling that beach scene wrap? I am interested if so...

jenny - do you want the pink tie-dye nature babies wrap? It's in EUC, just doesn't get used cos I have 3 boys! (it was a gift - I was a bit baffled by it tbh...)

Interested in this thread?

Then you might like threads about these subjects:

BaronConker - sorry what size and how much? Sorry if you already said - I am all in a muddle with what I am buying!

Octothechildherder · 04/08/2009 19:05

Just posting so don't lose you! Will be back tomorrow!

Octothechildherder · 04/08/2009 19:07

Free postage on orders at Lollipop atm if placed through me or any other advisor btw - also on my site for nappies. Bambinex btp and popper sized, fleece liners etc all now in - getting silver liners soon Am waiting to see how magic they really are!

Will read tomorrow

mumface · 04/08/2009 19:37

Jenny Itti's are £13.75, Magic-alls are £14.75. I have decided to stick to Twinkle though for Itti's though now as am worried about getting duff ones again. She has assured me they have had several deliveries since the rogue batch.
Am a bit Connor has not been able to wear a fair bit of two parters as he is developing a massive umbilical hernia & the wraps are rubbing it.Especially ME Airflows.

Octothechildherder · 04/08/2009 21:16

Mine aren't duff lol!

what has happened to the nappies section??? are we just potty training now?

????

twoclimbingboys · 04/08/2009 21:17

Hello all

baronconker - the UD wrap sold almost immediately - sorry. I think it only cost about £13 new though if that helps?

swampfire · 04/08/2009 21:54

Octo! Because I'm really trying to potty train my six-month-old!

Octothechildherder · 04/08/2009 22:03

Lets just say we have exchanged words with MNHQ - Lollipop has paid for a small business ad with MN so Lollipop advisors could refer to Lollipop without getting deleted etc- now there is no nappy forum - poor show tbh - very disappointing

Sad for MN, parents considering using cloth, cloth nappy users and sellers

Really disappointed.

swampfire · 04/08/2009 22:32

I have just emailed to express my distress. I have zero interest in potty training - it is just something you get through. Eventually. But I love my fluff.

JennyPenny22 · 04/08/2009 23:07

I don't get it? WHY would they get rid of the nappy section?! Are they going to create a new one just for nappies maybe?

Octothechildherder · 04/08/2009 23:11

No nappy section - you will need to discuss types of nappies in the product section and buy/sell in buy/sell. So no general chatter about nappies at all - they said that small business ads had complained about the amount of buying and selling but as that is only Lollipop (me) in small business ads - it is nonsense. I have emailed them my concerns.

JennyPenny22 · 04/08/2009 23:14

What about our general cloth chat threads??? They can't go! I love that we have our own little group and sort of "know" each other.

Octothechildherder · 04/08/2009 23:26

I think the plan is that they will have to stop - its total madness

swampfire · 04/08/2009 23:30

Surely we can just shift it to 'Products' then? Or should we all just bugger orf to Facebook? Or CNT? Or UKPL? Or CNA?

JennyPenny22 · 04/08/2009 23:30

How/who do I contact? I want to complain too. Maybe if enough people mention it?

swampfire · 04/08/2009 23:32

I just emailed contactus @ mumsnet.com

Octothechildherder · 04/08/2009 23:36

I think they want us to move to products and talk about indiv nappies - the aim I believe is to stop buying/selling off the buy/sell forum - pointed out that the group who use this thread do it on mn, cnt etc and will continue to wherever - deleting the topic is just sad

swampfire · 04/08/2009 23:39

Loads of people come here to discover the wonders of cloth nappies. The buying and selling is an incidental added bonus!

swampfire · 04/08/2009 23:44

Hell, lots of people come here to talk about despicables too!!!

TheNatty · 05/08/2009 00:23

i am outraged!

we could move to products and start a thread.. OR we could move to chat?
cloth nappy CHAT?

fucking rude.

excuse my french, but im sorry it is.

wankers

(can u tell i am SLIGHTLY annoyed?)

dh has promised me more ittis.. greenbaby do a special pack for 100 quid, i think 8 ittis 4 extra inserts and 8 boosters but can remember, something like that.
anyway that is my pressie for having charlie as most of our stash is ellens old stuff and/or preloved.

OP posts:
thebluefoxategreensocks · 05/08/2009 00:32

they better not take our place from us! I think this is about the only thread I manage to find the time to follow thoroughly and I always come here to chat to my friends! It would be most depressing for it to go!

As for the buying/selling....surely the fact that about 99% of us are already paying the fee for CAT facilities (and therefore able to use the classified section) ought to give us the right if we want to do a bit of bartering here amongst ourselves? Not as if we're starting new threads just to sell items!

Annoyed!

swampfire · 05/08/2009 07:46

Perhaps some of the cloth nappy advertisers might want to pull their ads seeing as they no longer have a relevant topic?
