natty how many lanolosings for disana new before night use?

JennyPenny22 · 02/08/2009 09:53

Natty - you might be better off just soaking it in plain water if it is washing powder build up so that it comes out. Or leaving it in a bucket of water in the rain so the rain water sort of flushes it out.

Tree - I am thinking of trainging to be a MW like you! Lol. Got to work out a way of paying for the training first though!

JennyPenny22 · 02/08/2009 10:00

Rusmum I would do it 3+ times before night I think. Or use a spray lanolin if you have one~?

Hello everyone! I've been on holiday in sunny Southwold for a week and have REALLY missed my laptop! How sad is that! Also had a week in smelly disposables and now Jamie has nappy rash.

Tree - my lovely parcel of fluffles was sitting on my doorstep waiting for me when I gt home! Think it had been there all week but luckily it was very well wrapped and the nappies were still dry. And now Jamie is in one, his first nappy on return from holiday. I love it! I had to practise the nippa on one of DS2's giant teddies first, it's about the same size as Jamie but much less wriggly.

jenny - well done you for writing a CNT review, I will vote for you, I'm hatesjazz on there. Keep meaning to do it myself as would love to win a pop and grow but am too lazy!

Also, jenny, I have a large pink NB wrap you can have. Open to a swap - what do you have in large?

JennyPenny22 · 02/08/2009 10:58

Baron conker I have loads to swap! lol. What sort of thing you looking for? Do you use fitteds/pockets etc and do you need anything else cloth related? I have tonnes to get rid of! Lol

JennyPenny22 · 02/08/2009 11:08

Octo - I see you are the sponser for august! Yay! I will try and do a super review! It is hard though as you soon run out of things to say! LOL. Would love to win the bag! In fact - I would love to win anything! lol

BaronConker · 02/08/2009 11:54

jenny - I use all sorts, but pockets sound good. Not sure I deserve a whole pocket in return for one wrap, though! I'm a journo, and write product reviews all the time, so I should reallly get down to doing one for CNT to try and win a nappy - but the key seems to be knowing loads of people on there so that they vote for you, and I don't know a soul!

twoclimbingboys · 02/08/2009 12:06

baron - you know all of us who go on there! We would vote for you.

JennyPenny22 · 02/08/2009 14:08

I only know people on this thread (and they are the only ones who have voted for me )

Everybody needs to keep their fingers crossed I will win something on CNA too. There are over 30 competitions, all that end tonight! Cost me £12 to enter too so thats the cost of a nappy anyway! Chances are I won't win anything though!

Octothechildherder · 02/08/2009 16:31

I think I get to pick the winner but don't know any names in advance I have one used pink pop n gro £10 inc postage if you're interested.

More waterproof bags coming in this week - very excited!!

Octothechildherder · 02/08/2009 16:41

No - thats wrong lol - the winning vote will get the prizes. On www.naturalmamas.co.uk you can win a goody hamper and a waterproof bag - its a babywearing site . I have organised the Lollipop and Nappy Wardrobe comps !

TheNatty · 02/08/2009 18:17

octo do you pick the winners? i entered last month but didnt win
i love the natural mamas forum, babywearing is nearly as addictive as cloth, however it is VERY expensive. i have three slings (i ring 2 mei tai) that all cost around 60 quid, but there are people on there who spend over a hundred pounds each on them

expecting hubby student loan next month, i wonder how much fluff he will allow
(pictures an itti in every colour in medium and large)

treedelivery · 02/08/2009 20:49

Hello everyone.

Really tempted to do a review too, but would feel a bit of an imposter!

I really want a bag though

Everything crossed for you for comp winning Jennny.

mumface · 02/08/2009 20:56

Tree & Scotia
Just had an E-mail from Twinkle who said Itti Bitti have had a faulty batch of fabric where the PUL was not properly heat sealed to the minky causing it to separate.
It's a case of waiting to see where they turn up. I have asked for a different colour to minimise having another faulty one.

treedelivery · 02/08/2009 21:02

Oooooo I haven't heard about mine yet. I wonder if I should tell GreenBaby about this?

What do you all think?

Am a bit, I dunno. A nappy I sold is being realisted at more money plus costs and post added on. Maybe I didn't ask enough in the first place.
Think I am emotionally attached to my nappies I don't like to think of them zooming about making money. I like to think of them being stroked Clearly bonkers.

Scotia · 02/08/2009 21:03

Oh thanks mumface, I'll email Clothy 'n' Crafty where I got mine from :D

Jenny, hope you win the nappy - I'll have a look and see if I can work out how to vote

TheNatty · 02/08/2009 21:27

im so glad i didnt buy peppermint in the end then lol

OP posts:
BaronConker · 02/08/2009 21:47

tree - I promise you I am stroking your fluffles! jamie has worn all three today. I don't think I could be arsed to resell a nappy I'd only just bought, unless I was feeling very, very guilty about spending too much on fluff!

treedelivery · 02/08/2009 21:57

Baron

Glad you like them. They are so so soft aren't they? DD1 came back from a babyshow where I got some with one on each side of her head in the car seat, as pillows. They looked like mega ear muffs.

Scotia · 02/08/2009 23:17

tree, same happened with some totsbots nappies i sold on ukpl. the buyer advertised them for more than i sold them to her for - really bugged me that she got several replies and offers too when i didn't get any originally! anyway, good luck to her i guess

treedelivery · 03/08/2009 09:35

Indeed, good luck to them. I'll have to get braver at asking prices

TheNatty · 03/08/2009 09:57

tree did u post the wrap? just so that i know whether or not to wait for postie this morning

OP posts:
rusmum · 03/08/2009 10:41

i dont often resell straight away only if bad fit - not liking the dress and couche i got- speaking of selling on!

JennyPenny22 · 03/08/2009 11:20

Entered 48 competitions last night on cloth nappy addicts! LOL.

Worked out yesterday that Elouise actually fits into most of Talias mediums! They are a small fit but therefore less bulky! So might try and concentrate on buying mediums for now as it does make life easier! Could do with some more medium WNNL really.

Got a medium night nappy today which is only cotton velour but its really thick. I got it for Talia (very cheap) but it is way too big for her. Think I will try on ELouise and see how it goes.

Natty - clwt twt on its way to you to try!

Anybody need any fleece liners? I am going onto minki liners more than fleece. Won't get rid of them all but do have too many really

TheNatty · 03/08/2009 11:34

cheers jen but i make my own liners and wipes. much cheaper that way.
thanks for posting the clwt twt

no fluffy post today
