I like brights. Pastels piss me off. Think Itti Bitti colour range (minus the pastelly colours) or even Baby Beehinds and you are heading in the right direction. I'm generally not so bothered about prints - I'd rather not have them but my favourite wrap ever is the lovely fleecy leopard print Stacinator.

swampster · 21/01/2009 22:59

Oooooh! AND the new bright colours from BumGenius are sooooo much nicer than the pastelly old ones - brights are clearly the way ahead.

I've seen the future and it's brights - YES WE CAN!!!

4andnotout · 21/01/2009 22:59

I must do a pic of Tilly-Grace in her purple leopard print weenotion wrap, it's punky and funky (like i wish i was!)

Tree! I thought you were supposed to be otherwise engaged???

4andnotout · 21/01/2009 23:01

I need a v3 in Zinnia, if i wasn't saving for a buggy it would be mine!!

swampster · 21/01/2009 23:06

I've got not one, but two zinnias - DH hates them coz he thinks they are too girlie on his boy!!! DS2 quite likes them.

4andnotout · 21/01/2009 23:08

Oh im if you ever want to offload one let me know

swampster · 21/01/2009 23:08

At this rate I'll have had my baby before tree and I've got another week and a half to go!!!

swampster · 21/01/2009 23:09

Got anything I might want, 4?

4andnotout · 21/01/2009 23:12

Loads of as new airflows in small perfect for little bums

lollipopmother · 21/01/2009 23:14

Bright colours and FUNKY patterns, cute works for newborns but funky works for the majority I think.

swampster · 21/01/2009 23:23

Ta 4, but I've got far too many small airflow already as I mainly use AIOs in the day and fleece at night. And I'm planning on discovering wool soon.

Agree on the funk, lollipop.

Tree has gone silent again - do you think she is doing what she is meant to be doing?

treedelivery · 22/01/2009 04:12

Think waters have gone!! Just going into the unit for confirmation as nothing happening yer [woke at 2:30] had hour and half sleep typical but hey ho. Will be in touch asap.

Fluff those nappies I'm nearly there!!

lollipopmother · 22/01/2009 05:41

Ohhh!! GOOD LUCK TREEDELIVERY!!! I really hope this is it for you!

Isaidno · 22/01/2009 07:41

swampster - I actually prefer the hemp bbh cos it is thinner, yet at least as absorbent. It dries a little quicker than the bamboo. To stop mine going crunchy I tumble dry for 10 min after the airer.

re me wraps, I would like bright and funky retro prints, or just plain brights.

4andnotout · 22/01/2009 08:12

Well is there anything else you need swampster? For you or baby?

swampster · 22/01/2009 09:00

Aside from good health and a pain-free experience? No.

4andnotout · 22/01/2009 09:09

Well if you decide to sell it let me know

rusmum · 22/01/2009 09:24

OMG_!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used a pampers last night as fed up of leaks and her bottom was soooo dry thid morning i am tempted to give up the good cause........... Quick help!!!

Good luck TREE!!!!!!

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 22/01/2009 09:37

rusmum - you can always just use them at night! but I've had more leaks (both wee and poo) with dispos tbh, and DD's bum is always dry with fleece

the "tree-suspence" is killing me! might have no finger nails left by tonight!!!!

rusmum · 22/01/2009 09:53

i know i cant wait- hury up tree!!!!!!

wonder if my fleece liners not right????

Think will use at night though as 12hrs a long time to ask of ANY nappy eh???

AnnVan · 22/01/2009 09:59

4 how much you wanting for small airflows?

I agree about funky prints and bright colours

go tree!! oooooh sooo exciting.

lollipopmother · 22/01/2009 10:58

When I use fleece her bottom can feel clammy but not totally wet, but if the nappy is completely saturated like a Sandy's is going to be if left on all night I don't think anything is going to stop the water coming through.

I used the Night Notions with Tots wrap, very impressed, no red marks on legs yet. I'm looking for a fleece wrap though and i've got a wool wrap coming.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 22/01/2009 11:42

oooooh, tempted by another pretty wool soaker.... but maybe should try a fleece one, quicker to dry for when the wool I have is washed/drying/lanolising.... any suggestion?

swampster · 22/01/2009 11:45

I'm soooooooooooooo tempted by wool - and you know, it really doesn't hold on to smells like other things. Unless it is pooey, a woolly wrap really doesn't need washing for AGES. But I also love my fleecey Stacinators - they are very like Airflows in their construction. And fleece takes a hell of a lot of abuse.
