It's good innit!?

You could be the first to have balconette wonderbra with drop down cups. See now thats what people want from a nursing bra!! If you have pert cleavage may as well have it in right place I say. My 'clevage' is sort of spongey to the touch and down by my tummy button which is of no use to anyone

LackaDAISYcal · 15/01/2009 17:02

a word of warning about that motherwearuk website.

I ordered some of the bra conversion kits and a feeding vest at the beginning of December and haven't received them. I've also not had any response to the two emails I've sent telling them I haven't received anything yet

I'm going to try and get them by phone tomorrow and if no joy will be trying to get my money back as I paid by paypal

treedelivery · 15/01/2009 17:09

Really!? Hope not another firm in liquidation. Thats pants for you you must be fuming.

surely if they were having financial issues then the site would be shut down and not still taking money? I'm hoping that it's a christmas backlog and I'll either hear from them or recieve the goods soon.

Thing is, I had to go and buy some bras so I don't need the bloody conversion things now anyway!

treedelivery · 15/01/2009 17:19

You're right, thats what blooming marvellous have done. Prob overun with orders and getting orders out after Christmas break. Bit ominous you've waited such a long time though - def go to paypal for refund I'd say.

lollipopmother · 15/01/2009 17:27

If the company is in Liquidation then it can't trade, if it's in Administration then it can still trade if the Administrators think that there's a chance of turning it around by practicing proper trading strategies so their staff will take over. Most of the time thought the Administrators will go in and shut it down to sell off the assets etc, the thing is that the company big-wigs won't inform their staff until the Administrators turn up on the doorstep because stock tends to 'go missing' if staff know beforehand that they're losing their jobs, so you often get the issue of people buying things minutes before the company goes down the pan. There would be a message on the website though if the Administors/Liquidators were in so I'd say they're probably just being shite.

rusmum: Payment received for Wonderoos - thanks! Will get it packed up & posted out to you tomorrow. Not sure yet if I'll be selling any more of them or not. You can try it out and see how you like it and ask me once you decide if you want anymore, and then I'll think about whether or not I want to part with any! OK?

emmab16 · 15/01/2009 19:20

rachel - it's leaking into the wraps but they are mostly managing to contain it - using motherease airflow...

realising from reading your posts there's a million combo's of real nappies out there for me to try!....

cyteen · 15/01/2009 21:35

Hello real nappy gurus I am about to dip my toe into the world of cloth and have a quick question, if I may.

DS is 20 weeks and 17lb 14oz today. I'm planning to get a few Teddies and Flexitots to try with ME Airflow wraps - as DS is practically 18lb I guess the size 2 nappies will be fine, but should I get a couple of small wraps even though he probably won't be in them for long, or invest in the next size up despite him not being quite up to minimum weight?

Let me know if that makes no sense

4andnotout · 15/01/2009 21:55

Hi everyone
No baby yet then tree! I was surprised that i didn't go over with dd4, dd's 1 & 3 were both late, by which time i was ready to murder someone!
Well we are dog/house/teenager sitting at my parents house, so have lugged all the nappies and buckets with me, after a week in despicables i was estacic to put them back in cloth!
lolipop The boosters and nappies are fab, im loving the cute little bumhuggers, i need 1 or 2 more in small as using them at night.
Tree my cleavage sounds very much like yours! DD4 is the 1st of mine to be bf but my boobs have grown with every pg and never gone down, im a 42G at the moment but at the moment they still point out rather than down which is a bonus!
Im trying wet pailing again, the nappies seem a lot smellier when i dry pail, so will try soaking and no washing powder in the wash for a few days and see if that sorts it all out.

The (relevant to you right now) sizing on airflows goes:

Small (6-12lb)

Medium (10-20lb)

Medium/Large (20-27lb)

Large (20-35lb)

So I'd skip the small, maybe go M, or maybe go straight to M/L... any gurus with thoughts on the matter out there?

cyteen · 15/01/2009 22:03

Oh yes, sorry, I did mean medium and large not small and medium I have looked into this, honest!

swampster · 15/01/2009 22:07

I kind of meant you might want to look at:

Medium/Large (20-27lb)
rather than
Large (20-35lb)

though the starting weight is the same...

treedelivery · 15/01/2009 22:10

May be having a baby tonight [disclaimer - may not as well].

Will let you know!!!

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 15/01/2009 22:14

cyteen, sorry, still in small here, might try medium again tomorrow, but though on largest setting for legs, we're still on smallest for waist, and still plenty of space! (DD 19wk tomorrow, 13lb 8oz last week, not much of a waist but chubby thighs!!)

to the wool users - how many times do I have to lanolise a disana pull on before it can last all night?

lollipopmother · 15/01/2009 22:15

4andnotout - Oh good, glad you like them, I always worry when I sell things that the buyer might have thought it was going to be better than it is iyswim. I may have another BH for sale soon if you're interested.

Cyteen - Definitely no to a small airflow, my DD is 13lbs and a skinny mini and I'm about to move her up to a M even though she's on the smallest settings for the stomach the legs are starting to look a little tight.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 15/01/2009 22:15

something's happening tree!?!?!

treedelivery · 15/01/2009 22:17

Hopefully. Its bloody uncomfortable and I've had all manner of shows so fingers crossed and legs....well yes. Oh I hope so!!

LackaDAISYcal · 15/01/2009 22:18

how exciting for you treedelivery

fingers crossed this is it and it all goes like clockwork

cyteen · 15/01/2009 22:20

Good luck tree! Your DD is absolutely gorgeous by the way

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 15/01/2009 22:20

how exciting!!!

4andnotout · 15/01/2009 22:22

Fingers crossed and legs open tree
lolipop let me know if you do, as would be v.interested
If anyone is looking for medium airflows i have hundreds of the plain cream ones and a few prints, i need to move up to m/l or large...

treedelivery · 15/01/2009 22:22

Thanks all!! Still smiling so not psomising anything..........

swampster · 15/01/2009 22:23
