Oh Poo.

My current family have decided to go back to dispies full time as she is now becoming mobile and they think she moves easier!!

me thinks it is because she hasn't seen a cloth for over 2 weeks, but hey ho what can you do, the set up we have is to potty training and cost about 3 months dispies but their wallet.

Alas it does mean i have lost me test subject before trying the Ella's house i got grr.

4andnotout · 05/01/2009 21:29

ESSIE Pop ins came today and im loving the fit of them already Have put them straight in the nappybag as they fit both dds so no need for dp's confusion

swampster · 05/01/2009 21:29

Message for Rachel - TXMaxx had short-pile Fluffles in today for £24.99.

notcitrus · 05/01/2009 22:51

hello again - what were the forums people suggested for buying and selling nappies which were better than Ebay?

I'm looking for a couple medium and large velcro Motherease wraps, preferably patterned, and possibly some more of the motherease nappies - not sure what they're called, the ones which are fleecy inside and towelly outside, T shaped and held together with a grappling hook elastic thing?

And looking to sell some large Motherease wraps with poppers as my hands can't deal with them.

Have concluded that A just doesn't have a Bumgenius shaped bottom as they always leak poo out both sides into the wrap, whereas SIL2's baby is 4 months older and they work fine on him, so he can have them all.

MatNanPlusAbroad · 05/01/2009 22:58

I wish Swampy but am guessing your not in Italiano land?

I had even bought some pvc pull on pants from Boots for them so not bulky around her middle/legs.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 05/01/2009 22:58

lollipopmother: ooh, didn't know you could still get the old style ones new! Thanks for letting me know. I'm actually going by a TXMaxx tomorrow, so I'll have to pop in and have a look.

ilovelovemydog · 05/01/2009 23:05

Mat nan - the solution is simple: change families

Deemented · 05/01/2009 23:18

treedelivery · 05/01/2009 23:48

Little lamb microfleece - working out at £5 each with postage and packaging, in size small.

What do we think? Good deal or wait and see what bubs is like shape wise? Having panic attacks haven't enough of everything [including babygrows, patience, sense and understanding ]

Hello demented!!The More nappy users the better I say!!

MatNanPlusAbroad · 06/01/2009 00:10

ILLMD the day will come when my services are no longer required here, tho finding cloth families isn't easy but then i doubt i would personally use cloth in the first week(s) and sometimes i am not there for long, tho i have had families that move to cloth after the first hectic months.

treedelivery · 06/01/2009 00:18

I still think I'm going straight to washables Mat. Bonkers I know. I promise to 'fess up as soon as I abandon the idea!!

treedelivery · 06/01/2009 01:23

someone here will know - I'm crap at that sort of thing!! Are they cotton or fleece?

babyjjbaby · 06/01/2009 01:24

cotton mainly bamboo

Deemented · 06/01/2009 08:13

You'll have to bear with me folks - the nappies that i'm not using on Brogan atm have been packed away - so when i eventually move i'll sort them out and you can have first dibs I know i've only a couple of MF LL - think ones applix and ones nippa, and i may have a couple of bamboo ones and a few cotton ones too - mix of nippa and applix too.

TBH i found the mf dry really quickly - almost dry after a spin in the washer, and they were best when she was a lot smaller. I'm not using them because as she's grown her shape has changed completely and i prefer pockets during the day - WeeNotions and Upsy Daisies being my particular faves, and for nighttime we like fitteds with wool - either WeeNotions night notions, Hollow Oaks or Jimmy Riddles with a soaker over the top.

Am a little excited because i'm getting some new wool sometime this month - a couple of pairs of longies and another soaker

treedelivery · 06/01/2009 11:34

Someone around here [lollipop or evenstar maybe?] makes their longies from jumpers!! Bloody genius!

I'm very happy with myself as I'll just be here waiting for your babies to grow and waiting for the nappies to be sold on......I hope you realise that you all have to sell your nappies!!?? No stashing for next bubba!!

Mum has arrived with the boosters - 2 layers of microfibre covered in fleece. Bless her they are brill!! ONLY thing is the microfibre peeps out the side of the booster on some, so it may wick big style. But guess thats what the actual nappy is for - to dela with wee!! And what with my 89 fleece liners we should be fine for bubbs bottom

Might start her on actual nappies next - poor thing!!
