Got these you sent me, and a plastic pack also from mumsnet. Mumsnet - It's brill!!

I promise to pass on to new washable mums in the same spirit and keep the karma flowing when you've all moved on and are nappy trained.....

ilovelovemydog · 03/01/2009 22:03

Think your karma is flowing just by being a midwife

treedelivery · 03/01/2009 22:12

Thats such a nice thing to say and think!!

Took me ages to 'out' myself - and was determined not to, but I end up getting into all sorts of threads offering up what for me are relatively simple answers to obstetric questions.

Practically gave the NCT class when dh and I attended with dd1! The teacher just kept saying 'perhaps you can tell us more about .....'

But am always mindfull and offer to tiptoe out if people need to vent their feelings towards the service - would hate to be a limiting factor iyswim!

Most happy here in nappy bubble surrounded by nappy fairies. Should be a giggle when I have this bubs and come on with desperate pleas for help as the bubble must surely pop!!

Here again. Have just had a think and no one in this house has done laundry for 10 days.

Might need to buck ideas up before bubbs arrives!!

lollipopmother · 04/01/2009 18:53

10 days! That's brilliant! If I didn't do it for 10 days I think my DP would walk out, he's constantly complaining that he doesn't have any clean boxers in his draw and I wash something nearly every day!!

treedelivery · 04/01/2009 19:55

I know 10 days!! Onto 4th load. We don't seem to generate much. Maybe we smell.....

got 2 of those peg hanger things for hanging loads of little things off. Thining nappy liners and baby socks. Got text from mum asking how many liners to make.

I have been sent quite a few by various folk throwing in a set with napppies I've bought, so I replied - 15 to 20. She replied 'well I'm at 89 shall I stop' had to laugh bless her.

Have done 1st soda crystal instead of fabric conditioner wash - looking forward to result. CLothes feel soft even wet.

babyjjbaby · 04/01/2009 20:02

haha 89 well u won't run out

Debs75goldrings · 04/01/2009 20:18

Sorry, can't help with terry square folds, TheLadyEvenstar! I tried one several times but never got the hang of them - always was saggy & baggy! But all the mums in the past did them, so must be possible! LOL
