(Incredibly childish) BBM sneakily makes part 3 thread and places Sandy's flag at the top for a second time.

(Flag is made from organic cotton and has been dry pailed and washed at 40C)

It is nothing like mumsnet! Mumsnet is a bit special.

swampster · 01/12/2008 09:24

But it has quite a good nappies for sale board you can hang out at.

lollipopmother · 01/12/2008 10:19

AnnVan - I started Elizabeth in 3-6 babygros last week too because her feet were all crumpled in the bottom and I don't think it's fair seeing as she's in them every night for bed.

Treedelivery - I use lavender or orange oils on a pad. I much prefer orange to lavender and I really dislike tea tree but also use that occasionally. I know that it's supposed to be anti-bacterial but I assume it actually has to come in to contact before it can do anything??

still in 0-3, some newborn too... though her feet are starting to curl...

I use lavender or tea tree, though don't like teatree (guess twice daily baths post-partum to help healing has been too much!) and lavender can be a bit strong in our tiny bathroom... might try some citrus one, after all I wash at least every other day...

off to check on the 3-6m bo of DS clothes now, see what DD can make use of... though she's received so many 3-6 months clothes plus a few I got, don't hink she'll manage to use everything twice!

AnnVan · 01/12/2008 11:07

I don't use any oils or anything, but I don't use a nappy bin - I have a waterproof bag for the dirty nappies
Lollipop I don the same - Seb sleeps in his babygrows, and as it is I think I should have moved him into 3-6 a couple of weeks before I did. Feel bad as we kept cramming him into the 0-3s. MIL has given us a lovely top from baby Gap in 3-6, she was saving it for Christmas but decided he's too big so gave it to us yesterday. Very cute though.

rusmum · 01/12/2008 11:16

Rose just going into 6-9 mth baby grows as toes curling . she is 17 weeks (just). nappies make a big difference though to sozes. REALLY NEED some vest extenders!

lollipopmother · 01/12/2008 12:08

Does anyone have CAT that could contact a lady that has a nappy for sale that I want? Her advert is from a month ago so I don't reckon she'll still be checking the thread. Pretty please??

thebluefoxategreensocks · 02/12/2008 20:20

Probably lots of us have lots of prefolds too! LOL I know I certainly do - about 50 of them! So I certainly won't be looking for any! sorry! And not really sure they have much of a resale value - you often see them going ffp. Though occasionly there are ppl who are actually looking for some - but could well take time till the right person comes along. And perhaps not the best time of year - I'm sure most ppl are saving their pennies for christmas shopping - so prefolds might be the last thing on their list! Pretty nappies can be tempting - but the more boring ones are easier to resist.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 02/12/2008 20:21

rusmum - I'm using my basically new prefolds on the changing mat! great as dd loves naked-time before bath and saves me having to dry wee off the floor during changes!! they're quite cheap new, and quite expensive to post because of the weight, so maybe that's why!
