GENERAL CHAT THREAD FOR CLOTH NAPPY USERS - PART 3

1000 replies

(Incredibly childish) BBM sneakily makes part 3 thread and places Sandy's flag at the top for a second time.

(Flag is made from organic cotton and has been dry pailed and washed at 40C)

Hi vee my dd4 is nearly 5 weeks old and im use same nappies that i use during the day as im still feeding and changing her during the night, however dd3 is 13 months and she wears ellas house bumhuggers with an airflow wrap and a booster overnight. HTH
Ladyevenstar Im going to ring my local tk maxx in the morning and enquire if they have any in, will let you know!
Sadly i have just listed the last of our blueberry minki pockets, so hopefully they will sell before i change my mind. At the moment im prefering the relability of 2 parters.

VeeBee3 · 25/11/2008 21:03

Thanx 4 for quick reply. Only asking about night time nappies as DS2 occassionally sleeps through until 6am, so just wanted to be ready for when it is regular.
Thanx Again.

Essie3 · 25/11/2008 21:13

I'm 5 mins from a medium sized TKMaxx, and 15-20 mins from a large one...
How do I find out if my one(s) are selling them? Just go?

Im going to ring our local store.

Essie3 · 25/11/2008 21:33

The medium one doesn't have any - although I might visit tomorrow in case, as (not being funny) I'm not sure the non-English person on the phone fully understood...you know how people are with cloth nappies.

Will phone the big one tomorrow.

TheLadyEvenstar · 25/11/2008 21:45

lol essie, you are not near lewisham are you??? must have had same person as when i asked about cloth nappies i was told we sell clothes and no nappies in shop try a chemist

I was like errrrrrrr ok lolol

Essie3 · 25/11/2008 22:21

Actually, LadyEvenstar, I'm not a million miles away from Lewisham... I'm in Tooting, Colliers Wood is the closest branch, but there's a big one in Croydon!
Maybe the lady works shifts in Colliers and Lewisham...and is totally puzzled by the ladies phoning up about nappies!

TheLadyEvenstar · 25/11/2008 22:29

LOL Essie maybe!!!!

treedelivery · 25/11/2008 22:46

Matnan, sorry about that but he has turned into a terror lol.

Essie3 · 26/11/2008 14:19

I can get the nappies from my local TKMaxx!! Anybody interested?

VeeBee3 · 26/11/2008 15:26

Hi Tree, hoping you're feeling better. Have you been discharged from hospital yet? Did you get your hands on your parcels? I had some fluffles delivered today and was so excited - i'm sure the postie thought i was a little mad!

Does anyone here use fluffles? If so can i use motherese wraps with them. Also does anyone on here have any they're selling or no of anywhere i can find them at a bargain price?

Vee x

rusmum · 26/11/2008 16:01

Local TK maXX has organic set (15 nappies, 4 wraps and nippas) £99

thebluefoxategreensocks · 26/11/2008 16:30

VeeBee3: Yes, Motherease wraps are fab over fluffles - at least I know the Airflow (popper) ones are - nice & roomy over a fluffy nappy. ME Airflows are my all time favourite wrap - can't find anything that beats them. BTW, what size wrap are you looking for? Don't exactly have many excess ones (as I love mine!) but I probably do have 1-2 spare ones in size large, if that would be the size you're looking for.

TheLadyEvenstar · 26/11/2008 16:31

The lady who got them on the other thread got the big bag for £25 hmmm must have been priced wrong!

rusmum · 26/11/2008 16:35

i think so....

TheLadyEvenstar · 26/11/2008 16:36

Rachel I have 3 nappies for you hunni

treedelivery · 26/11/2008 16:47

I'm out!! Escaped this pm. Not well but don't need fluids anymore so did a runner. Home to 4 year old rebellion. Might get re admitted pending her mood in morning.....

Home to my poochies wrap - lovely stuff thank you. All the wraps and nappies I have just look huge next to the new borns I was eyeing up for size on the ward today!!

So on that thought I wondered if - because I'm a newbie, we could do a run down on how old our sprogs are?? Be lovely to see you in my head with the right size baby, seeing as I know what type of nappy they have their bums!

What 'dya think?

rusmum · 26/11/2008 16:53
