(Incredibly childish) BBM sneakily makes part 3 thread and places Sandy's flag at the top for a second time.

(Flag is made from organic cotton and has been dry pailed and washed at 40C)

Done!! God I'm broke Christmas cancelled I have nappies to buy.

Such fun!! Postman thinks I'm bonkers.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 24/11/2008 11:49

Is that a yes or no for the wrap, or that you are finished buying nappies! LOL

treedelivery · 24/11/2008 12:17

Not finished - haven't even started!! Tee Heeeeee. Am curently buying nappies I like, when dd2 here I can start buying nappies that suit. Then she'll grow and I can get more and it's such fun!

Cheaper than pushchairs and I used to have a thing for those so actually this makes good financial sense [pious face]

So yes please I'll have your wrap!

Also getting some fluffles from mumsnet classifieds and some things from lollipop. Thats before ebay and usednappies.co.uk

What Christmas?

My mum lives round the corner. She's away but I have KEYS!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 24/11/2008 12:21

Well at least with nappies they don't take up as much space as pushchairs! I have 7 of them in my house (2 of which are doubles!)...so I know! LOL

The other good thing about nappies is that you can easily sell/swap them on afterwards for ones you need later, so often they're a good investment even...and think of all the money you'll save over disposables! Well, provided all of your cloth nappies aren't the sort of 20 pounds each personalised ones from Wee Notions! LOL They do look lovely, but would never spend that much myself!

So, if you send Paypal over to [email protected] I'll get the wrap sent out to you today. Thanks! x

treedelivery · 24/11/2008 12:32

R - Will do. women after my own heart then!

Swampster - Oooo keys and a washer all on it's own. Probably no man in levi's about to strip and wash his pants at your mothers though.

treedelivery · 24/11/2008 12:32

Do let us know if there is though!!!

swampster · 24/11/2008 12:40
Grin
treedelivery · 24/11/2008 12:53

So Swampster - are you changing the disposables less then? How you finding them? I used them with dd1 and only changed them twice a day, pampers rep told me they hold wee for 12 hours so took her at her word!! Unless she poo'sd of course. Never had nappy rash and it made them not too expensive.

So I'm not using washables for cost, think it must be more green issues and because disposables are so boring. You just sling them in the shopping trolly. Washables seem fun - altough still in rose tinted shopping specks. Hope I react well to pailing and hanging out etc!!

4andnotout · 24/11/2008 13:10

Rachel i'd love the wrap will pp you in a bit, just bfing dd4 the mo!
I too am a pram addict but im in withdrawal as only have 2 at the momemt, a mountain buggy terrain double & a peacecamp mamas & papas duette, have my eye on a freestyler as i need a single for taking dd4 to bingo with me but i need to sell my yummy mummy changing bag first

treedelivery · 24/11/2008 13:17

4 - Why do you need to sell your yummy mumy bag?

Surely you should never sell you yummy mummy bag if you got sticky mitts on one in first place?

I got a blank expression when I showed one to DH on internet. Tut. I'll take that as a 'no you can't have one' then. Tut

treedelivery · 24/11/2008 13:43

Ooooo I have the runs and the pukes and a temp.

I'd like a size 10 fluffle to wear. Fecking toilet down 3 flights of stairs and my pelvis is knackered.

Bobbins

Fed up now.

4andnotout · 24/11/2008 13:44

I need to sell it to try and raise £45 to buy a pushchair i have seen I already have sorted out a couple of nappies to sell and another mamas and papas changing bag,now i just have to take the pictures!

treedelivery · 24/11/2008 13:52

Keep the bag - go without food.

4andnotout · 24/11/2008 13:57

TBH the bag was another thing i whinged for and desperately wanted but rarely used and i dont use it now i have 2 lots of nappies, wraps, boosters and liners to carry about!-I have a huge satchel instead!

treedelivery · 24/11/2008 14:04

Ah well - live and learn. Hope new pushchair has a big old shopping basket for nappies, wraps, boosters etc.

AnnVan · 24/11/2008 14:27

Put Sebastian in a Sandy's for the first time today. Will have to try it a bit longer before I decide how good they are. The drying time isn't too bad though (obviously not as fast as the Teddies, but MUCH faster then the bamboos) Am giving them the benefit of the doubt as I have only done one prewash, so I'm guessing the absorbency wil improve over the next few washes. I love the look of them though, and I think I already prefer them to my bamboo nappies, so give it a few days and we shall see.
Must put a nappy wash on. Oh and the poor boy has the most hideous nappy rash - open sores on his bum

treedelivery · 24/11/2008 14:31

Has Sebastian had it a while now? Poor lamb.

Chamomile tea worked on red skin for us. And no nappy for hours and hours and hours.

Wierd how it just swoops in, didn't on dd1 but did on plenty of friends dc's.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 24/11/2008 15:36

treedelivery: Thanks for payment. Going to pack up your wrap now & post it this evening.

4andnotout: Doing post around 5pm, so if I get your Paypal before then I can post today. Otherwise, will be Wednesday when I'm doing post again. Hope that's OK. Thanks! x

4andnotout · 24/11/2008 16:12

Just checked the funds and i wont be able to afford it until thursday if she still have it then.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 24/11/2008 16:23

OK, just check with me on Thursday. Don't have anyone else after it at the moment, so hopefully still be available on Thursday. xx

AnnVan · 24/11/2008 17:10

tree we think seb is teething so that might be why he's suddenly broken out in sore bum. he's chewing my knuckles a lot - so i have quite painful thumbs atm! Been trying to do the no nappy thing - but I think the house is a little chilly (despite best efforts of the boiler) so he's getting fretty quickly

oopsacoconut · 24/11/2008 17:30

Hi

Can I play too? I have a 12 week old DD who is wearing bamboozles, pocket tots and peapods. I have a nappy thing going - I was a nanny and put 2 families of kids through clothies and am now doing the same for my DD.

Can I ask a stupid question? - I have always used flushable liners and am now using fleece ones - can I use them with my pocket tots and peapods? I was under the impression that 2 layers of fleece created a waterproof layer so if I use fleece with the fleece lined nappies will they still work?

I just picked up 2 black bags of nappies from my old job all too big for now - every possible type I now just need to wash and sort them.

AnnVan · 24/11/2008 18:15

Hi oops I've wandered when we'd be seeing you on here

TheLadyEvenstar · 24/11/2008 18:31

Anyone want some bambino mios ??? size small i only used 2 of them i need rid of all the nappies I won't use as I do love my tots
