(Incredibly childish) BBM sneakily makes part 3 thread and places Sandy's flag at the top for a second time.

(Flag is made from organic cotton and has been dry pailed and washed at 40C)

Baby There are 7 of them, all brand new. I'd take £11 posted (recorded delivery). Email me on lorwiggins at yahoo dot co dot uk if you're interested, I'm happy to take Paypal, bank transfer or cheque.

Treedelivery - Please email me on the above emailer if you're still interested in the nappies and I'll give you info on how to pay. Thanks.

BBM WHERE ARE YOU???

If you don't come back soon, may have to visit

thebluefoxategreensocks · 21/11/2008 21:32

Anyone selling any large/petite toddler sized Fuzzi Bunz?? Or any other similar pocket nappies, like Wonderoos etc? Looking for some for my 20mo little boy, so no pink please! LOL

BigBadMouse · 21/11/2008 21:52

ilmd I was only here this morning! I've been forced to deal with RL you see so I'm not here as much as I used to be I guess

lollipop that would be great thanks Don't worry about reimbursing the postage if I have to return it though. DS has a tiny waist atm and is possibly still small enough for a small anyway. You can contact me at [email protected]

rusmum · 21/11/2008 23:13

i have these for sale

Hi all, check out, also have 2 large fuzzi bunz white.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 21/11/2008 23:20

Do you have any photos of the Fuzzis? What sort of condition are they in, and price please? Ideally was hoping for something brighter than white, but certainly white will serve the purpose!

lollipopmother · 22/11/2008 00:24

Rachel - I have a royal blue Wonderoo and a Red Wonderoo I could part with if that's what you mean by bright, they look good on and would definitely look good on a boy. I can't for the life of me think what they're like in respect of stains but I can certainly check, they are well used but they are still brilliantly absorbent, they'd come with the Wonder-fulls Microfibre inserts if you're interested?

treedelivery · 22/11/2008 00:56

Hi everyone.

Lollipop - have emailed you about those nappies if they are still around. So am thinking, how many nappies do you have? I was proud of my range of 10 nappies and 3 wraps. Now realise that I have to be looking at advanced storage solutions before I'm a serious nappy head!!

It's such fun! Haven't felt this motivated and excited about no sleep, poo and night time changes since...oh I don't know when. Really I don't.

Felt very smug looking at piles of mega bucks disposables in supermarket. HA!

Will have to have those strawberry wraps somehow, I make strawberry blonde headed children.

treedelivery · 22/11/2008 01:47

Ok people - brain being eaten by baby and I need some experience and wisdom here!

What do I put an 8-9 lb, newborn dd2 in? Breastfeeding [dd1 poo'd once a week or hourly depending on something I know not what].

2 part Nappies I have either look

huge,
huge with tiny wraps over and bits of nappy sticking out,
huge all in ones that wont fit in a baby grow.

Oh I'm a novice! Will babygro's fit? Or should I stock up on leggings and baggies and a few tops?

My green baby vests looking very unlikely!

Do I just stick a bit of muslin and a wrap on her for 1st few weeks? Seems a con when I have such a stash! Wanna get using! All dolls in our house have a lollipop micro fleece on at mo. The cat is asleep on a bumgenius.

Can't wait for summer - squashy dd2 in fab fleecy bum and fat legs sticking out. Yipeee!!

Sorry for mega message. I do go on. DH bored senseless by nappy talk. Conversations round here go
'do you think this mirofibre terry feels more absorbant that this toweling darling'
'What's for tea love'
'My is is that time already - sorry was just counting fleece liners and checking the mint minky has a liner to match.......'

thebluefoxategreensocks · 22/11/2008 08:51

lollipopmother: Thanks for your reply. Yes, those colours would certainly be suitable - mainly just not wanting pink! LOL Do you know what the label says, are they Wonderworks Wonderoos, or does the label just say Wonderoos? It's just that I had a couple of Wonderworks ones but didn't get on with them at all (leg elastic didn't last, as seems is common with them). Anyway, if you can let me know more (full label brand & condition), I'd be very interested. Inserts aren't necessary though if you can use them for something else, as I have lots of prefolds & microfibre inserts. Oh yes, and if you can let me know what sort of price you're thinking of too. Thanks! my email is [email protected] xx :-)

rusmum · 22/11/2008 09:06

rachel will take pic later!

ilovemydog · 22/11/2008 10:30

bbm

ilovemydog · 22/11/2008 10:33

treedelivery try sandy' (motherease) extra small. DD and DS both were skinny and long and worked for both.

lollipopmother · 22/11/2008 11:56

Treedelivery - What I would suggest is that you try some XS Sandy's with an XS airflow wrap, I put my DD into them when she was about 9lb and she's still in them now at nearly 12lb and it's the only nappy system I've used that has yet to have a leak with the bf poo. I would be able to sell you a couple as I have loads of them, but obviously I don't want to come across as pushy. There are other newborn sized nappies though, such as size 0 Kissaluvs which I assume would be good but I've not used them so can't make a recommendation, or maye something with a nippa as this allows you to get a better fit. Sandy's are a brilliant route to go down though because they do up independently at the tummy and leg.

As for how many do we all have, ohhh there's a question! I know some people have admitted to being into the hundreds!! I've got 19 XS Sandys, 16 S Sandys, 7 Bumhuggers, 8 Lovables, 8 Wonderoos, 9 Ella's House Hemp (not arrived yet) and then a few other things that I'm trying to sell as I don't use.

Rachel - I've dropped you an email re Wonderoos.

lollipopmother · 22/11/2008 12:04

Oh, x-post with ILMD due to DD throwing a 15min wobbler!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 22/11/2008 14:13

rusmum: thanks, look forward to photos later. My email is [email protected] And let me know what sort of prices you have in mind too, please! Thanks!

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 22/11/2008 16:49

treedelivery - like others said, def go for xs sandy's, put dd in them as soon as cord dropped off and healed (as that was were the elastic used to rub). but as I only had 4, I also used muslins, and then boosted muslins til she was big enough for the size s sandy's. the pop-in fitted her well by 2 weeks, though I discovered later you can turn the front down too to make it smaller. and understand re talking about nappies - dp last night asked if I've finished ordering them, if I have enough.... got 10 S bamboo Sandy's, 12 pop-ins, 2 ella's house hemp, 1 wonderoo, 2 velcro sz1 bamboozles, 1 popper sz2 bamboozle, 4 lovables (on their way), 2 new real easy (arrived this morning), 6 terry squares, 3 bamboo squares (though i love using them on chaging table) and I think that's it... oh, 1 homemade lovable. other bits I have to sell...

(mil paid for dd first coat yesterday, pity the fluffles did't work for us cos they'd match! )

BigBadMouse · 22/11/2008 17:37

treedelivery - xs sandy's for sure. They have a good resale value - if you buy wisely second hand you may find they have cost you nothing by the time you have sold them again. I worked out how many nappies I had for a thread a while ago - was about 300 but I have acquired more since then (and there are more on the way I think!)

lollipopmother · 22/11/2008 18:58

BBM, Treedelivery and Rachel - I've emailed you re nappies.

Sunflower - What are the really easy nappies like, I've had my eye on them too!

AnnVan - How's that Bumhugger going?

I went shopping with my MIL today, didn't change DD until we got home 4hrs later and found a bloody great poo in there, now she's got a red bum. Sometimes I get so bloody angry at myself, I'm fine when I'm at home but as soon as I step outside my door I completely forget how to be a parent.

ilovemydog · 22/11/2008 21:01

Natural baby resource is having a sale on Bum Genius all in ones - these are sized.

Am not sure if this is allowed or not? I am not trying to evade the advertising rules as I have no affiliation, but here's the link. (and report if it's not OK)

offer on Bum Genius

ilovemydog · 22/11/2008 21:04

all in one offer

EachPeachPearMum · 22/11/2008 21:08

Just running in to say hello to BBM, sorry! Nothing to say about nappies I'm afraid
Hope you're well BBM!

AnnVan · 22/11/2008 22:38

lollipop -I used the bumhugger last night - it was very soggy this morning but no leaks. might want to try it again, and see if I have the same result. The only thing is it looks really small. I checked the website, and that says the small fits up to 20lb, bu it doesn't look like it would fit him for long (so want to put it on him again and see how it looks) does anyone know if the large can popper down for a fairly skinny waisted DC? He has chubby legs though and is very tall. I think I like the absorbency of it though, I'm just not sure if it would be worth buying them in small?
