Despite the fact that my house never seems to look really clean or tidy, i am amazed at how much i have got done already today.

  • Took DS to doctors/chemists
  • Emptied dishwasher
  • Made us both lunch, then picked DS's up from the floor
  • re-filled dishwasher
  • Put washing on line
  • Washed more clothes
  • Picked up CDs and DVDs after DS (again!)
  • Picked up toys (again!)
  • Made some bottles up and not forgetting, found time to potter on the net.

No wonder the days where i go out to work seem soooooo much easier!

CustardosBitch · 21/05/2007 14:28

nothing at all my dp has done it all because my grandfather passed away this morning and i feel like shit

GameGirly · 21/05/2007 14:28

That really made me laugh, LL! I'm in a similar situation myself ... although I've been here so long that I now shout back at them if they dare raise their voices to me, so it is now mercifully rare.
Enjoy your time with your LO, I say.

GameGirly · 21/05/2007 14:29

Oh Custy, I'm so very very sorry.

PregnantGrrrl · 21/05/2007 14:49

and the 'actually' in the title wasn't meant to infer anything- i just meant that however hard i try, my house is still a mess, but when you write down what i've done, i'm definately doing something

I do far less in my paid work, and it's less physically tiring...but i don't get to see a snotty DS babbling and rampaging through the living room, so it's all good.

Chirpygirl · 21/05/2007 14:52

Is fuck all an option?

Well, actually I dressed myself and DD,
went to ANC for check up, which took hours.
Washed her nappies and hung them to dry
Made lunch for her, me and DH (he's on a late shift)
Done a bit of washing up
Cleaned bird cages out

But then I do all that every day!

Twiglett · 21/05/2007 14:53

Put baby down for nap
Tidied kitchen and washed up
Made cup of tea. Sat down in front of computer.

And today has been a relatively calm day so far ...

Loving reading what everyone else is up to
