He won't stop crying unless he's being held by me, preferably sleeping on one exposed boob, although at a push I can reclothe.

He is declining tuneless songs and cuddles from his siblings, and putting him down got me into a lot of trouble. Who needs words to shout?!

I can't find his warranty, and am not sure I could face returning him, collection was bad enough.

Any suggestions?

As I previously said, if the poster does want to chat, or feels low at any time..please feel free to message me. I felt low many years ago, and came through the other side feeling good! I really cannot be bothered with responding anymore to bullyboy kind of tactics. It takes how many of you to gang up on one person? Not the first time I have experienced this behaviour on here. Off a ducks back. Pitiful, really. Carry on as you were with your pretend little lives.

FuckingFattyBitch · 29/05/2016 17:25

Nobody is ganging up on anyone Hmm but hey ho.

Bloodybones · 29/05/2016 17:25

Not being smug in the slightest. Taking someone at face value...just in case. On your hands be it.

Where would entertaining threads be without some GF trying to derail the thread?

For myself, my pink 97 version is a dream. I spent a bit extra and went for the "clone of owner" version, so even when I'm not there, I know everything's in hand. I am a bit concerned about my blue 00 version, however. The language button appears to be knackered, as the only sound it emits is a grunt. It also consumes far too much fuel for the amount of energy used.

for those who don't know....Never put your baby to sleep on their bellies or sides when very young.

Bloodybones seems to have a patronising know it all glitch. Does it need resetting?

My 1983 model has recently cloned itself, yet the 1981 older model is showing no signs of doing the same.
I was feeling low last night, the newer 1999 model was absent from it's home base and I was on my own. Reading this and other threads cheered me up. Sometimes laughter really is the best medicine Smile

bigbuttons · 29/05/2016 17:55

bloodybones I think you have some kind of processing chip missing. If you can't see that this is a funny thread then, then, I don't know what. Then you're not like every single person on this thread and are functioning on a slightly different level to most people.

The 1988 model has recloned, therefore 1988 is discovering previously unused Apps. The clones are showing fewer bugs than the previous version.
1989 and 1991 disregarded their earlier bugs and are running smoothly.
However the 1949 DH Model is showing signs of wear and tear...parts are hard to come by and some original systems errors are still evident.

bigbuttons · 29/05/2016 18:02

Aprilskies very funny. If the missing chip turned up it would definitely be on her shoulder!

Lweji · 29/05/2016 18:12

Did GF descend on the thread?

Absy · 29/05/2016 18:17

I also have a 2016 model and similar glitches last night - it did not want to go into sleep mode and needed to be plugged in all night. I may have lost the warranty

BIWI · 29/05/2016 18:17

I have two blue models, from 92 and 95 (although the 92 model turns out to be rainbow coloured, which I didn't think I'd ordered).

Both function well, although the cleanliness function seems to malfunction every now and then with the 95 model, who also doesn't appear to have an 'eject from parental home' button.

And the 92 model seems to lack the 'financial independence' app.

Lweji · 29/05/2016 18:23

My 2005 model was a tummy sleeper. He was so cute with his bum sticking up.
And was a light sleeper. It was a relief when he could turn himself around and I stopped bothering about putting him on his back. who knew it was something only I knew and it was kept a secret by the government
After some twitching he turned into a sleep monster and will sleep through most things and switches off at a decent time in the evening. Not so good when we want to go out with friends.

Lynnm63 · 29/05/2016 18:35

Fuck off bloodybones it's a joke. You know funny, the kind of thing you have a laugh about. Do you honestly think we are all bemused that 'the product' isn't working.
If the op had wanted advice she'd have asked for advice. Why don't you hide the thread and leave the rest of us to have a giggle.

Buzzardbird · 29/05/2016 20:37

Bloodybones is 'new'...ish.

bigbuttons · 29/05/2016 20:42

bloodybones is many things....

FuckingFattyBitch · 29/05/2016 21:17

buzzard I noticed...

Willow2016 · 29/05/2016 23:00

Bloodybones
Your sense of self inportance and superiority far outweights any benefit you would actually give to anyone needing support.

This is a humorous thread (look it up in your memory banks under disused programmes) We are all having a laugh (look that up too) Its not on a support forum, OP herself told you, but apparently thats not good enough for your holier than thou attitude.

Maybe you should go spread your omnipotent wisdom elsewhere.

We are not ganging up on Loosechange cos she started the funnies.....simples

Sephipops · 29/05/2016 23:22

I've ordered a pink model. Delivery is currently late, but I'm hoping that that's because they're installing a few extra programmes such as "Quick Sleep", "Anti-Colic" and "Variable Volume".

CodyKing · 29/05/2016 23:32

Seph - Delivery is a real pain - they never get the dates right and can take a looooong time to arrive, unless you opt for the guaranteed delivery date option.

Shirkingfromhome · 29/05/2016 23:37

Agree Codyking both my models were two weeks late. Frustrating really as I usually only order when I can book an am or pm slot.

My manual also says to power down when they do. I haven't quite figured out how to do this and still complete the tasks required.

Couchpotato3 · 29/05/2016 23:58

You could track your order online and request delivery to a neighbour or other safe place.

I have 93, 94 and 00 units. 00 version appears to have been fitted with identical software to 93 prototype and is displaying very similar interests and speech-patterns. 94 version about to return to the manufacturers after a prolonged remote access period but 93 unit is permanently docked elsewhere.
I also have a 64 model that is functioning reasonably well, but it was second-hand when acquired and needed a lot of apps retro-fitting. Still glitching on a daily basis but I think I'll keep it for a bit longer as it requires relatively little maintenance these days.
