We do not have cordial or pop at home either the two girls dd2 5 yr and dd3 just 3 both drink a lot of milky tea.

knat · 12/02/2006 19:35

thansk cod need a new take on it as done all the usual training tips and nothing seems to work.

bobbybobbobbingalong · 12/02/2006 19:36

I still need poo help.

Latz · 12/02/2006 19:37

not sure if dd ready - does not seem to know she is going to 'go' just afterwards she will let me know she has done a poo about half the time. She is 2 yrs 4 months clever in other ways but not this one. Do you think waiting til Easter would be better?

all4girlz · 12/02/2006 19:40

We are not on half term til the week after,
I think Easter holidays are national so will try and catch your boot camp then (if allowed in).

Praise da lord for Cod!!!

I will be on here tomorrow.

Feel helpless and getting no where with dd almost three - so look forward to the advice.

Kidstrack2 · 12/02/2006 20:44

Agree Cod 28m is prime and perfect both my ds and my dd were trained at that age and within 3days they had grasped it! Good Luck to all that are potty/toilet training their little uns!

bear73 · 13/02/2006 16:03

Please please can I join. This is my first post on mumsnet. DD just turned 3. Two failed attempts at pants behind us (6 months ago). Very bright, sure she has control and awareness but will NOT tell me or sit of her own accord. Also, on last attempt refused to let me sit her or be told to sit. Driving me insane. Tried buttons, chocolate coins, reward charts, stickers, promise of fave toys etc. NOTHING HAS WORKED. CANNOT BE BRIBED.

Was starting today but she has bad vomiting and have been to Docs, so postponed till better.

Please please help

where's Cod? I need help............

knat · 13/02/2006 19:36

bear - my dd just the same been training for 3 weeks now, is aware, can control and hold for hours will stop midstream a couple of dry nights but will not sit on pottyor toilet. No amount of bribes seems tow ork not even chocolate and she loves chocolate. I've now started to withdraw my attention when she does wee in her pants. So i tell her she knows she must go on the potty not on the floor in a firm voice and then leave her for a few minutes. I've found that the withdrawal of attention has worked on other issues in the past so i'm hoping this is going to work here! I've also started a sticker chart for other things, ie brushing teeth, eating dinner nicely etc and then when she gets more interested in this hopefully she will want to get a sticker for potty (I thought this might be better as it's not just potty based).

Is this another potty training camp? Anyone want a portable loo seat insert? I have been trying to flog one to Cod's converts for a week or so.
