Ciao tutte!!

OP posts:
Francagoestohollywood · 21/02/2010 20:51

At the moment I'm all for Omar. I also have a soft spot for Dennis (cutty) and Lester Freamon. And Sydnor. McNulty is a bit boring in season 4 and has disappointed me in the finale.

Rosa · 22/02/2010 12:51

DH in bed all morning but he did unload the dishwasher. SHould be raining here all day but it hasn't been ( phew). Haven't seen Gio or Penthe for a while. AM guessing Mcnulty is just having a break.

AllQuietOnThePippisFront · 22/02/2010 12:57

McNulty is Carcetti!

Rosa · 22/02/2010 13:00

Oh Bu**er I just can't keep up with it all ...

AllQuietOnThePippisFront · 22/02/2010 13:16

LOL!

Sputnik · 22/02/2010 13:32

I am staying Sputnik, half-term survivor!

Francagoestohollywood · 22/02/2010 13:33

Lol!!!

AllQuietOnThePippisFront · 22/02/2010 13:35

I love half terms but today I am grateful for and enjoying the peace and quiet!

AllQuietOnThePippisFront · 22/02/2010 13:37

I wonder how SG is doing without her mum.

Sputnik · 22/02/2010 13:40

Pippi I am actually jealous of you starting out on The Wire, I am starting to worry about what I'm going to do when it's all over.

Sputnik · 22/02/2010 13:42

It was really a relief to get back into the routine today tbh. We spent part of half term out of Rome but then came back on wednesday, and this house is too small for everyone to be home all day if it's raining outside.

Rosa · 22/02/2010 13:48

Sputnik don't say that we are still chasing our tails looking at the 80m apt to buy......
We only had 3 days of Half term here anyway!

Sputnik · 22/02/2010 13:53

Yes, but Rosa I actually said to DH yesterday I am starting to really like this house because it is small. It is really easy to keep tidy and everything is handy.
Just if we'ew stuck inside all day the DCs, who are normally pretty good, start bickering.

What is the current status with that apt? Did you make an offer?

Sputnik · 22/02/2010 13:56

Plus DD cannot stop talking. We actually bribed her last night to keep quiet on the way home in the car as DH could barely drive we were POSL so much.

Rosa · 22/02/2010 14:04

Just say we have everything crossed......

Francagoestohollywood · 22/02/2010 14:07

Sputnik, I've posted season 4 back to you this morning.
I agree with sputnik that a small apt is actually easier to clean and tidy etc. However, we are starting to outgrowing this flat, as having a 7.5 yr old boy is a bit like having a huuuuuuuge, lively, dog...

Francagoestohollywood · 22/02/2010 14:08

rosa, we'll keep everything crossed for you

Sputnik · 22/02/2010 14:13

Yes, so is having a 2.5 year old. If he's not exercised regularly he starts chewing the carpets.
Yes, got your email Franca, getting to the last episodes of series 3 so great to have 4 lined up.

Sputnik · 22/02/2010 14:19

Apropos of convo several posts back, can't decide on my Wire fanciableness ranking, but every time I see one of DH's polo shirts I think of Stringer Bell. Quite ominous really.

Francagoestohollywood · 22/02/2010 14:33

!!! Stringer Bell is a "bell'uomo" without the shadow of a doubt. Truth is that I probably fancy everyone on the wire, even Brother Mouzone. Miticooooooooooo... You'll love season 4, I promise.

Ok, I'll stop talking about the wire now ... I promise. Apologiessssssss

Off to the school run now.

AllQuietOnThePippisFront · 22/02/2010 16:25

Yes what's happening with your flat situation Franca?
Does "small" in Milan means the same as in London, i.e. tiny?

Yes Sputnik I am already sorry The Wire will eventually end. How many series are there?

Sputnik · 22/02/2010 16:43

5 series.
Actually SB would be quite a long way down my list, along with McNulty. I think Carver would be at the top purely in terms of eye candy. Omar is Omar though.

tommycarcetti · 22/02/2010 17:37

I think small in italy means 100sq at least!

tommycarcetti · 22/02/2010 17:38

Actually bigger maybe? Venice though will obviously be a different story...

tommycarcetti · 22/02/2010 17:41

Our apartment in Italy was huge, enormous everything, the sitting room had a watching telly section, dining section, a playing section, a corner with a table to have tea, a whole wall with shelves.... And we were on the not rich scale, that was normal.
