Camo, we have been to the V&A today with Torcetti. which one is their childhood. If the one in Bthnal Green I have been but Tocetti is your man!
Proud mum emoticon alert: I have spent the whole day in town with the girls walking everywhere, to museum, bookshops etc and they have been fantastic! I love my girls and the holidays!!

DS has to do some research on toys of the past, so I thought of taking him there, can't remember if there's anything in the main V&A, as that'll be better as we can go to the other museums round there too... they're also supposed to bring old toys to school, but the few things I have here, though my first doll is nearly 32 years old, it's still pretty "modern", I'd have a few "proper old" things of mum's back home....

DD's JUST gone to bed! last night same thing and eventually came to ours around 1am, as usual sleeping with her head on my neck and along the pillows so very painful back today......

If you decide to venture there I suggest you do so very early. The science museum was okayish till 11am after that it was madness inside and the queue to get in prob a good 20min. the V&A was heaven. so do the other ones first and that last.

Agree Museum of childhood is a must if you visit London, a must for kids and adults, bellissimo, spent most afternoons there when ds was little, i used to call it il mio salotto!. They also have a bar with nice food and very good coffee, not cheap though. The shop is very expensive, but the post xmas sales are good. They may have some toys at the V&A too. Back to playing with the kids for a change.

Thx everybody....Quiet day as dh felt grotty and I went down with a nasty cold. Minirosa is hiding something as she is all floppy and cuddly - I am writing this one handed with her not trying to grab the keyboard mouse etc. delayed reaction to meningococco I doubt it ????
Its english drizzle here today foul yucky foul and Dh working. MIL rang at 9.25 to see if I wanted a hand taking dd1 to materna... I was already in The Coop stocking up on the Pampers in offerta !!!!
SO I think I just need MM on FB now ???? WIll have a nosy later if I get a mo.

Still abit snotty and had a bad sore throat last night but hey ho getting there. Minirosa wasn't too hot yesterdat either but it was a reaction to the vaccination as today she is fine...
I would book those seats as as if they sell a few more then they will go up again.... I sometimes found that with my summer return flights once they dropped £20 I booked and then they dropped another £10. However the day after they went up more !!!
ALl our hols are on hold right now until we see how things go but M&D are coming over in May so thats something to look forward to!

No holiday here, quite the opposite...am at school 4 afternoons a week till the end of March and feeling guilty that dd's homework as am leaving her with a series of lovely but dim SILs who are just letting her play with her hyperactive (because they don't get enough sleep ) cousins, and I can't say anything because of course it's free babysitting.....Two days in a row she hasn't remembered to do all the work and the maestra has been

didn't go today and it was a lovely day too... but my throat is bad again, and DP, who for once was going to finish earlier last night (10pm) instead came home as usual as he was sent to a &e for a burst vessel in his eye, good that work were concerned, but got me worried for nothing with two devils who didn;t want to sleep...

anyway, buch and MM I sent you FB request, but I forgot to tell you it was me to one of the 2!!

Pippi, did you enjoy your first episode? I finished season 4 yesterday (sput, will post it tomorrow) and loved it. I loved it so much I even dreamt I was having sex with Omar

Our settimana bianca went well, dd started skiing and enjoyed. Ds arrived 3rd in the gara. I started skiing again, despite bad backache, but it was worth it.

Glad you had a good time and the dcs sounded if they enjoyed themselves.... I dread to think what will happen if I get back on skis again - I sued to go down anything but I think I have lots my bottle ( and my legs !)
My cold is still on going - or I have another and I am very POff. DH has it as well and I think minirosa......Yet I have to get on with everything and dh has manflu !
