Hello, welcome, benvenuti

OP posts:
Francagoestohollywood · 03/12/2009 19:58

what did you get rosa, what did you get?

Camomilla · 03/12/2009 20:18

no, was busy at work!

franca, something similar with ds, but he's really the "baddy"/"doggie"/dead power ranger (for the joy of my washing machine ) of the little group of brats. he doesn't like it and we keep on telling him that he should stand up for himself and tell them to be the baddy etc... and that s.times his "friends" don't want to play with him because it's fun to play with others too... but it's difficult at their age...

rosa, spill the beans then

sputnik, we just have wooden ones, will only use the big ones this year, I saw some nice felt ones, was quite tempted, but she'll end up pulling the tree down... will just need to close the door and not live her alone in the living room!

(*$&%(&£^(stupid foxes have woken her up now, what are they doing out in the cold )

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 03/12/2009 20:23

Just here to show off, ladies....Busy evening ahead...

Rosa · 03/12/2009 20:33

QUick spill but I was really topping up and getting cugini etc. IMO the best prices for toys etc is the SME they were so much less.
Minirosa got this playskool ball blower looks lots of fun and I think dd will enjoy it - you have to post balls in one hole and they sort of blow upwards !!!
Cuccioli thing for nipotina- It was Eu50 in Auchan , Eu42 in Coop and I got it for Eu35.
DD got a dolls bed ( a cheap one ) as her dolls sleep in a cardboard box that one day is an audi another day a dolls bed !
Some lovely felt books from ipercoop nice and christmassy.
Bought a few things in H&M and also DD Xmas school outfit ( Red but bought snazzy tights and she will easily wear it all again).
GOt MIL photo frame and was going to get SIL one but she was with me.
Had a huge laugh with the GPS -s tupid thing must have told me to do an inversion a U 50 times...I rekon DH programed it to do it on purpose so I wouldn't find the shops we went to a new place !
Oh and bought my self a magazine called torte di natale so I did in fact spend EU3.90 on me.

Francagoestohollywood · 03/12/2009 21:05

McNulty's hot english accent

OH wow rosa, that is a one prolific shopping trip ! And well done with the torte di natale, let us know if there something interesting.

Camo, argggggggh boys... poor ds, yes we had the more or less the same with our ds too.

Sputnik · 03/12/2009 22:22

Well done for sorting all your xmas shopping, I still have to do the kids. Wasn't me after the penguin, maybe Buch?
Like the name AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum, I just see AlliwantforXmasisMcnultys... , which is somehow even more intriguing.

Feeling quite knackered, I have gained another english pupil, which is good as I can do them together. It was more stressful but also more fun.

Sputnik · 03/12/2009 22:26

My DD has been playing with a couple of boys recently, they play the fire game which apparently involves the boys rushing out to fight fires and DD cleaning the fire station and taking calls

Francagoestohollywood · 04/12/2009 08:51

Another pupil? Well done sputnik!
at the fire game. Ah gender stereotypes.... argh!
I'm here with dd who has been a teeeeeeny bit sick early this morning and is now watching peppa pig.

I want to make vellutata di zucca.

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 04/12/2009 11:14

Can I ask if any of you used re-usable nappies? We thought about it for, ehm 5 minutes, until we realised that, unless summer, it would take ages for the bloody things to dry, you would have to hang them inside, so you would need space...I thought that I would end up tumble drying....infact don't most people in a rainy place like England end up using the tumble dryier fpr cloth nappies?....

I love my new name....[show off emoticon]

Francagoestohollywood · 04/12/2009 11:51

I love your new name too

I think Camo uses cloth nappies no? I went to a demonstration when pg, but got soon confused by makes, types etc, so I'm afraid I kept using the evil huggies
Why would you need a tumble drier? I usually hang my washing near a radiator and it gets dry in a day...

Francagoestohollywood · 04/12/2009 11:55

mmmm it's dawned on me that you might need the nappies dry more quickly than a day. I understand now

i love singing this to dd -

Francagoestohollywood · 04/12/2009 12:30

Oh, it's one of my bestest favourite songs !

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 04/12/2009 12:39

do you sing it to dd too?
takes me ages to get anything dry here, boh!

Bucharest · 04/12/2009 12:45

Me me the penguin! Ipercoop?

Franca, do you dare me to say on t'other thread that I think Sollecito has the eyes of a serial killer, just to balance things out????? lolol.

Back in a while my lovelies, am floating tortellini.

Bucharest · 04/12/2009 12:48

Reading backwards now, as I remember I forgot to unfreeze the brodo.....feck.

I used reusable nappies for a nanosecond. Totsbots. Did quick calculation that, much as I heart the environment, my life was worth more than scraping sh** all day and having nappies drying on radiators....

Francagoestohollywood · 04/12/2009 12:54

No, I don't, I find it an incredibly sad song...

I know it can take ages. I usually have the stendibiancheria in the bathroom, near the radiator, it works!

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 04/12/2009 12:55

lol Buch!

By the way I do dare you!!!

Francagoestohollywood · 04/12/2009 12:55

Oi Bucharest . Have you posted again on the other thread? Let me check.

Penthesileia · 04/12/2009 12:55

Yo, mothafuckas.

I watched Season 1 of The Wire. My life is now officially over, and if I don't get the other seasons soon, I am going to freak out. Most def.

Anyway. Still having computer woes. Boo.

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 04/12/2009 12:56

I know it is a terrible song, probably putting dd off men...

Bucharest · 04/12/2009 12:57

Not yet!

That Playmobil site is very expensive though, you know. I'd say a good 60% more expensive than UK sites or German ones which will ship here.

Re Amazon, I couldn't live without it. I've placed 3 orders already this week!

Francagoestohollywood · 04/12/2009 13:01

Yo Shardene! (I will soon go on baby names thread and start suggesting all the Baltimore names)

Penthe, I had to endure 7 days without the Wire, while waiting for season 2 to arrive. I watched ep 2 yesterday (the one with the perfect butt scene)

Bucharest, what do we make of Alberto Stasi?

AlliwantforXmasisMcnultysbum · 04/12/2009 13:06

Do ya feel me?

Penthesileia · 04/12/2009 13:10

Ayight!
