FRANNNNCAAA please keep your new name, i love it!
SG- we didn't have a tv until i was 4 and then we were also heavily rationed, i think i must have seen LO maybe 6 times (i remember it was on at the same time as telegiornale and i had to literally go down on my knees and beg my dad) but i think children just get so easily obsessed impressed. the other day, totally out of the blue, dd1 told me Rupert Bear is her favourite cartoon EVER. I told her, but you've never seen it! But YES mamma we saw in the hotel (=in Austria when we went skiing last March).
our halloween was fab, we had 8 children here- friend's little boy of 18m came dressed as a princess to copy his big sis, he was hysterical, had a little snack, some facepainting and went trick or treating in the street. great fun and i got to snoop inside the grand houses at the posh end of our street .
SG did you have a carved pumpkin outside your house? generally speaking kids only knock on doors that are clearly "up for it".
Camo, Lol at the little escapist Pumpkin! dd2 was like a baby possessed, suicidally running down the street in her little witch outfit
