Hi, hope you find this thread. The old one was too big.
Varifocals eh? Not sure I'd fancy that.
DP took me out to lunch today, to The Ivy. Twas really nice, good food and service, great decor, lovely stained glass windows. I only saw one sleb - Trisha Goddard with (I presume) her daughter.
I had seared scallops with bacon, followed by the rib-eye with chips and creamed spinach (with too much nutmeg in it).
It's been a funny old week. The house is a tip because I've hardly been in it (except to catch up on sleep). We're off on holiday on Saturday morning and I've organised nothing. Gulp!

Dd would love a pink shaggy carpet!
I want dd to have a pink shaggy carpet!
There have to be some benefits to having a bedroom only a bit bigger than the bed!

Berrie · 21/01/2010 20:18

So? Did you slip into the ravine, swim to safety and stump back to base?

Berrie · 21/01/2010 20:20

Snot funny you know, I was worried!

ghostofoggs · 21/01/2010 20:22

Whoooo!

Very nearly

I stayed out all day and picked dd up at 4:30 (she had sports after school), and it was much better by the time I was coming back in. Still slipped a bit in places but better.
It's raining again now so should be much improved in the morning.

Berrie · 21/01/2010 20:23

Humph, don't do that to me again!

MattBellamysMuse · 21/01/2010 20:23

So did you venture out Oggs? Or did you chicken out?

Berrie · 21/01/2010 20:24

Just watching Being Human.
Would send you the series but don't believe you've watches true blood yet?

Berrie · 21/01/2010 20:24

What did you do all day?

MattBellamysMuse · 21/01/2010 20:24

Ooops.
So what did you do on your first day of freedom?

ghostofoggs · 21/01/2010 20:25

Sorrrrrreeeeeee...
I didn't get back here until almost 5:30 and as we are without PC and dvd player my laptop is being used as multi-media centre. I've only just been able to lay claim to it.

MattBellamysMuse · 21/01/2010 20:25

I can't wait for True Blood 3.

Berrie · 21/01/2010 20:26

Better get the old pc working!

MattBellamysMuse · 21/01/2010 20:27

Tonight, do I a. fill holes in DS2's walls in preparation for papering/painting tomorrow or b. sit down with a cold glass of Sauvignon Blanc and watch Phil and Kirsty.

Berrie · 21/01/2010 20:28

Need you ask.
Lazy alcoholic bastard me...

MattBellamysMuse · 21/01/2010 20:30

Are you still off the booze?

ghostofoggs · 21/01/2010 20:30

I shopped, and mooched at the library

I bought a can of compressed air to blow into the CPU fan on the PC, a pair of jeans (stretch) , a bottle of brandy, and tons of food.

Being Human! I was looking up that for some reason the other day. A werewolf, a ghost and a (dishy) vampire???

I also looked at usb stick thingies but didn't have enough money to get one. I'm going to get a bigger one I think. The only one I've got is 4 whatevers (I can never remember which is bigger a mega or a giga ( I started using m for most but got confused 'cos g stands for greater, so still get mixed up)). Don't know how much would fit on that.

Berrie · 21/01/2010 20:30

Nope

MattBellamysMuse · 21/01/2010 20:32

Giga is bigga.
Get one on ebay. Waaay cheaper than in shops.

MattBellamysMuse · 21/01/2010 20:33

Tut tut Berrie. How long did you last?

ghostofoggs · 21/01/2010 20:33

We've gone back to only drinking at weekend.

Thursday is weekend isn't it????

Berrie · 21/01/2010 20:35

Dh says most things would fit on on a 4 gig but not Hamlet. That should be ok.
