DP took me out to lunch today, to The Ivy. Twas really nice, good food and service, great decor, lovely stained glass windows. I only saw one sleb - Trisha Goddard with (I presume) her daughter.
I had seared scallops with bacon, followed by the rib-eye with chips and creamed spinach (with too much nutmeg in it).
It's been a funny old week. The house is a tip because I've hardly been in it (except to catch up on sleep). We're off on holiday on Saturday morning and I've organised nothing. Gulp!

No, she doesn't post on here any more. Just kind of disappeared one day. But she did send me a happy new year message on FB. Maybe she just got fed up with MN, as most people do from time to time.

Yes definately, I think it can absorb you to the point of suffocation sometimes!!!

I usually go to bed at 9 having drunk my fill. I'm deadly tired early evening now I cant sleep. The evenings are soooo long and boring!

We have a couple of inches. Not enough to close the schools so business as usual. Hope work's not too bad Berrie.

Roads are passable which have been gritted but not our close. Tee hee hee.
When I rang into school, the child wasn't there anyway so don't feel so feeble now!
We have only 2-3cm or so but it's better than nothing I suppose.
Ds is at school, dd is at home and she has just wet herself inside her snow suit, double socks, boots...

I had a dream last night that Zeb and I were at Jeremy Clarksons and she was trying to get him to give us some drinks. It wasn't happening so she tried to get sweets instead.
