DP took me out to lunch today, to The Ivy. Twas really nice, good food and service, great decor, lovely stained glass windows. I only saw one sleb - Trisha Goddard with (I presume) her daughter.
I had seared scallops with bacon, followed by the rib-eye with chips and creamed spinach (with too much nutmeg in it).
It's been a funny old week. The house is a tip because I've hardly been in it (except to catch up on sleep). We're off on holiday on Saturday morning and I've organised nothing. Gulp!

Fine. Ds is in his second year at school and doing well and dd starts in September ...sob, my baby!

Got to go and get ds now actually, will look at dreaded facebook later!

It goes so quickly doesnt it!! As for me, I'm much less sociable these days I'm all about hibernating indoors with my DP - but that might just be the weather - it's certainly snowy out there

bah! Don't talk to me about snow.

Binkle, how nice to see you!! I'm so glad you're happy. Tbh from comments you made about your exh it didn't sound like you were very happy with him. But you got out and found someone who makes you happy and I'm really pleased for you.

thanks, I'd lost a bit of weight there - it was just as I met my DP back in May - now piled it back on so he sold a dud in some respects heehee
