DP took me out to lunch today, to The Ivy. Twas really nice, good food and service, great decor, lovely stained glass windows. I only saw one sleb - Trisha Goddard with (I presume) her daughter.
I had seared scallops with bacon, followed by the rib-eye with chips and creamed spinach (with too much nutmeg in it).
It's been a funny old week. The house is a tip because I've hardly been in it (except to catch up on sleep). We're off on holiday on Saturday morning and I've organised nothing. Gulp!

DS1 has only lost three teeth so far and he's 7.3. He's got a weird single gap on the top and the other front tooth is showing no signs of wanting to come out.

That's not good. Would a lie down help?

Makes such a change for me as I only saw Twilight on our portable. Want to watch it again now on the laptop as the picture quality is much better but don't think dh would be enamoured with the idea .

Oh good, you enjoyed it. I'm going to see it with a friend next weekend. Did you notice a song called I Belong To You (by Muse, no less)? They recorded a new version of it (original is on the new album) especially for the film.

Mmm, what have we done today? The day started with something we hoped dc wouldn't come upstairs and see us doing. Then we had a bath.Not together.

Next we went to the library. Then we went to Dh's Dad's and had fish and chips. On the way I went to WILKO (I bet neither of you have WILKO) to get some garden fleece but it was all christmassy stuff. I bought some christmassy things for out friends in Africa - lights, decorations, cheap crackers. It was good to get out. When we got home, I stuffed some extra sweets and rocket ballons into the crackers and spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to fine out the last posting date for Uganda. (4th in case you need to know) Dh went up the hill to see how many journeys the mobility scooter can do before it runs out. I did some Christmas present surfing and then we helped ds make his shepherd for the classroom display. He drew it on some balsa wood. Dh cut it out and they sanded it together and he's colouring it in yellow red and green stripes now. He has one hunched shoulder and a very scary expression. He is lovely. We had a chat about if we had another baby. I would call it Edward(was my alternate name for DS)DS would call it Ben and DD would call it Millie. Then we decided we might have twins and then we decided that, since they were already fighting over lying on me, I wouldn't have time to cuddle them. Dh pretended we were not having that conversation at all.
Dh says I have not got away with not going for my walk today so I guess that's next. We will then feed dc and put them to bed and I shall watch X Factor while DH does something more interesting.
