Hello!
I've had the most ridiculously busy weekend and now I'm shattered (and working, although still in my dressing gown lying on my bed with laptop propped up).
I was out Friday night till 3am, hangover from hell all day Saturday but still had to take DSs to activites/parties.
Out again at a 40th birthday bash on Saturday night, home at 2am, then to school at 9am on Sunday to set up/run a stall for the summer fete. Was there till 4pm, then straight on to friends' house for a barbecue, at which much wine was consumed.
Got home and put DSs to bed at 10pm.
My liver's taken a hell of a bashing this weekend. I think I need a few days of detox (and early nights).

Berrie · 06/07/2009 18:32

Good God Lyra, that sounds horrendous!
Hot water and lemon juice for you!

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 06/07/2009 18:33

I bet you're feeling ancient!

LyraSilvertongue · 06/07/2009 18:47

I'm not 20 anymore. I can't take the pace.

oggsfrog · 06/07/2009 20:48

Wow Lyra... you party animal!

Feeling any better?

Still tired. I'm off to bed with my book and a glass of water.

LyraSilvertongue · 06/07/2009 21:03

I'm itching to read Twilight again but trying hard to resist. Must finish Mortal Instruments first. I've ordered it from Amazon but it hasn't arrived yet. Still plodding on with Owen Meany...

Berrie · 06/07/2009 21:39

New Torchwood tonight. Am saving it for tomorrow though.

oggsfrog · 07/07/2009 17:03

Oh God. I've just bought a spinning wheel

OP posts:
Berrie · 07/07/2009 17:17

Nutter!

LyraSilvertongue · 07/07/2009 17:42

What for?

oggsfrog · 07/07/2009 19:35

I thought I might try to weave straw into gold

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 07/07/2009 19:38

D'oh! Spin straw into gold. Spin

I always cock up the punchline. That's why I never tell jokes.

Is there a little man there with you? If there is, his name's Rumplestiltskin.

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 07/07/2009 20:42

You're all nutters.

I'm just warming up for the next thrilling installment of Torchwood. Shall I spill on last night's Berrie?

And my roomy's great. She keeps cooking me nice food and we're working on the Zebs Weight Loss Plan.

LyraSilvertongue · 07/07/2009 20:51

I didn't know you were getting a roomy. When did she move in? Did you already know her?

Berrie · 07/07/2009 21:25

Watched the first tonight, saving tonight's for tomorrow! It was GOOD!

oggsfrog · 07/07/2009 21:56

Bugger. It's on tonight too? I think my Mum thinks it's only once a week. Bum!

Are you not fast enough for iplayer?

Berrie · 08/07/2009 07:41

Ds was proper poorly with an earache last night. He ended up in with me with dh on the sofa. I woke up with ds across the bed with his legs propped across my tummy. I didn't want to move him because he'd struggled so hard to be asleep. When he woke and saw where he was he giggled and seems fine again. I suppose I'll send him to school. Do earaches just disappear like that?

oggsfrog · 08/07/2009 22:59

I've found that all sorts of 'aches' just disappear like that.

The only earache that dd had that didn't go away was when she caught a rotten cold and ended up with a perforated eardum with all yellow gunk oozing out of it. Not nice. Much screaming, moaning, fever and tender care was involved.

Hope ds is feeling better.

No. Not fast enough to stream i-player unfortunately.

Should be in bed.
Flying tomorrow evening and haven't even checked-in yet.
Have made a list of things to do tomorrow and top of it was to pack up my knitting (not enough hand luggage space), and my needles (not allowed in hand luggage), so I can post them all to my Mum's so I can work on them there.

Shucks. What with knitting, Doctor Who and Twilight am I an official dork/geek?

Absolutley!
Hope you have a lovely lovley time.
Will you be able to call in? I seem to remember at the height of the Lee fever you said that you might not be around but that you actually sat until the early hours looking at Lee stuff on your Mum's computer!

oggsfrog · 09/07/2009 09:45

Oh I'll be around still .

Not as much, and possibly at some odd hours, but I'll be keeping in touch.

Berrie · 09/07/2009 10:50

Can you freeze mayonaise do you know?

LyraSilvertongue · 09/07/2009 18:15

How is DS today?
Have a great time Oggs. Do keep checking in. it only takes one of us to be gone and it gets very quiet around here.
Feeling really low today . Things are still really difficult here but not as bad as a couple of months ago.
