It seems to be my week for celeb spotting. I took the boys swimming and Brendan from Strictly was there practising his routines with Jo Wood in the studio next to the pool. She looked great from a distance but not so good close up (they ended up at the next table in the cafe afterwards).
Will y'all be watching this year? I got quite into it last series.

I'm a bit peeved about them replacing Arelen Phillips and feel like boycotting it TBH. I will probably watch it later on...Dh hates it!

Am just making a batch of plum chutney. had forgotton I have to leave it until Christmas bah! I gave it as Christmas presents last time I made it leaving us with only one jar and it was delicious. Am not going to make the same mistake again. They can have soap and like it!!

Will your MN friends be feeling the benefit of this plum chutney?

I was just going through a bunch of unlabelled CDs/DVDs and found most of the family photos I thought I'd lost when my hard drive died!!! It turns out I'm not a complete numpty after all and did back up to disc occasionally. Four holidays (including never-to-be-repeated Lapland), four birthday parties, school plays, sports days, days out, I thought I'd lost them all and they're all there.
I'm now just missing the end of last year (including party at No. 10) and beginning of this year (including all the snow pics).
I lost all my music but that's replaceable.

I'm taking the boys into town later to buy school stuff. DS1 needs proper shirts now he's going into juniors and both need new shoes.

I did the shoes yesterday. Nowt much left. Can't understand that you'd think they'd stock up. Forgot to do a new P'E shirt but the one he's got will do for now. Plimsolls were a problem...the ones I bought doen't really fit too well so he says he wants to wear his old ones.

The disc has arrived. Thanks so much. Let me know if I can return the favour sometime.
I've spent the whole morning cleaning and tidying so the house is no longer a tip for the first time in ages.
I bet there won't be any shoes/shirts/plimsolls left. Oh well, gotta try.
DS2 was very funny last night. I went in at midnight to tuck him in and kiss him and he suddenly shouted out in his sleep "Cunt!"
I was then . I'm sure he had no idea what he was saying (has never said it before). I went to bed chuckling.

Town was cleared out. I managed to get four shirts and a pair of plimsolls. The only school shoes I liked were £69 . I think not. I'll order some online instead.
