Number 13?

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 19/05/2009 17:55

Nope, but thanks for the thought. It's Oggs who's in love with him, or is it someone else this week?

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 19/05/2009 17:57

I'm now scratching my head. I thought you were in love with Edward?

LyraSilvertongue · 19/05/2009 17:58

Yes, Edward. He is not Edward.

LyraSilvertongue · 19/05/2009 17:59

Not my Edward, anyway. Not even close.

LyraSilvertongue · 19/05/2009 20:18

Are you denying it?

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 19/05/2009 20:25

well oggs, you've got previous. DT? Lee who?!!

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 19/05/2009 20:29

oggsfrog · 19/05/2009 20:30

He's my Edward.

My first, my last, My everything

Lyra, I'm shocked that you think I'm so fickle . Whatever gave you that idea?

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 19/05/2009 20:37

LyraSilvertongue · 19/05/2009 20:40

You're watching Holby on your phone?

LyraSilvertongue · 19/05/2009 20:52

Clearly you haven't mastered it yet because you've posted that 3 times

oggsfrog · 19/05/2009 22:10

Berrie · 20/05/2009 07:23

Morning all. Thought you'd been having a long conversation without me but it was just Zeb triple posting!

One lesson this morning then I need to go into the village and make appointments at the Doctors Dentist, hairdresser and I'm thinking of a spray tan. I've never had one but I'm thinking that my wobbly, lardy bits might look better wih a bit of colour...but is it a little... ...chavvy?(for wont of a better word)

LyraSilvertongue · 20/05/2009 09:22

It is a little bit chavvy if it's a deep orangey brown colour. something more subtle would be fine. Do you get a colour chart to choose the exact shade?

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 20/05/2009 09:24

Back to the laptop, it's much easier than the phone.

Berrie, spray tans are only chavvy if you go for the orange wag look, with added streaks. I use one of those tinted body moisturisers like Holiday Skin or something, otherwise my natural skin tone is blue. White is the colour I go after 3 months of sitting in the sun.

Berrie · 20/05/2009 10:41

I usually use those holiday skin things too but as my legs look more and more muttony they don't really do the job any more. I will have to sit in the bath with a loofa for a day if it comes out orange. i don't know how you choose the colour. Maybe if I ask for a bit stronger than holiday skin lotion but not orange they'll come up with the goods?

LyraSilvertongue · 20/05/2009 12:53

I've just spent the morning finishing the jobs in the bathroom that twat-face failed to complete . Now I shall reward myself with an hour spent with my book.

LyraSilvertongue · 20/05/2009 12:54

Oh, and the heating engineer who was supposed to be fixing my leaky boiler hasn't turned up, surprise surprise. He was supposed to be here at 9am.

LyraSilvertongue · 20/05/2009 12:57

Btw, I'm reading Interview With The Vampire by Anne Rice. It's ok but not a patch on Twilight. These vampires sleep in coffins and kill humans every night yet somehow remain undetected despite living in the same apartment for decades. And there's a freaky vampire child and they have fangs and can't go out in sunlight. All wrong .

Berrie · 20/05/2009 13:39

Well I've booked my fake tan!

Can you reccomend any holiday reads Lyra? Have you tried The Host?

I usually buy crap books for holiday, leave them there and use the extra weight allowance for wine.

LyraSilvertongue · 20/05/2009 14:48

Yes, the Twilight series

Berrie · 20/05/2009 14:56

Yes but I wouldn't want to leave that! Also...you know how you get into a sort of fever...it's an addiction...I'm not sure I want to fall into that again now I'm free!

oggsfrog · 20/05/2009 15:41

What? You mean it's possible to quit this addiction?

Not sure if I want to...

LyraSilvertongue · 20/05/2009 16:33

Embrace the fever, Berrie. although if you read them on holiday your husband and children wont see you for days
I'm just trying to leave a reasonable amount of time between my second and third readings
