Well I've reduced the size of the dirty washing pile. Now just need to clear the wardrobes. And do an hour of exercise

I've found out today I might not have any work in September.
The pilot scheme will be over and it will be rolled out nationally and as such each school is told how many pupils they can tutor. My schools are allowed 3 and 1 respectively...all year and I am not the only tutor. I've been doing 7 children at a time changing them every 10 weeks or so.
I can't work evenings until after 5pm which is tricky for schools. I have to be able to drop off and pick up the kids and as the Head pointed out, until my back is fixed I'm a liability. I can't do supply because of picking up dd at 3...I can't work in the nearest city as they overpaid my maternity pay and I never paid them back - working for them might alert them to this.

Oh Berrie That's a bugger. Could you do private tutoring? Is there any demand for it?

Lyra, how long will the wardrobes take? What are they made of?

Babysitting the squirrel today. The neighbour knocked on the door at 7am. Usually we would be up but Dh is poorly and has not gone to work today so we were all still in bed. Bit embarrassing!

Dh is becoming rather attatched to it and has made it a heater out of a bulb and a terracotta pot. I think it's still got fleas myself but it is rather charming!

Right, off to get dd.

I'm still here. Today I've been mostly sitting in the garden in the sun smoking fags!
Oggs, wardrobes should take 3 or 4 days. The basic frame is up and the bedroom is covered in dust. And my hallway is full of tools again.

Been working again today and will be shopping all day tomorrow. Not enough hours in the day at the moment.

We've also been without a phone for a week without realising it. Thinking back it has been quite peaceful. BT came today to fix it

Currently lying on the floor, my back is bad today.
I rang the Doctor and asked when I might expect to get my referral but the hospital is hanging sites so he didn't know.

Bummer.
