worley · 09/06/2009 16:19

well, i got up and out to go to work this morng to find some one had got into my car, on the driveway i only noticed when i went to put ds2 in his seat and wondered why the passenger door was open, in the pouring rain. and they had opened the glove box and emptied it all out over the car seats. except they didnt take anything, none of the cds out of the changer box thing, none of the small change for the car park. i rang the police and they came and looked and said couldnt do prints as it was too wet and damp in the car. so will give us a crime number and thats ishe did say that another 2 cars had been broken into but they had all had their stuff stolen.

anyway, i tidied it all up and left for work to discover that they had actually broke my dior sunglasses (that my brother brought me back from thailand so i dount they are real dior!)and they had twisted the arms all up, which has made dp(might start calling him AH (arsehole))really suspicious and thinks it's her or her friend has done this over night.

anyone got a spare room cause im tempeted to just clear off and leave all the mess to him!!

worley · 09/06/2009 16:24

i would love some birkenstocks or how ever you spell them. i just spent £60 on new work shoeslove these ones though but i hate my toes so i dont were summer shoes very much

worley · 09/06/2009 16:25

ok so them links didnt work! i got some nice red or dead shoes that are black with bright stitching running around them (bit like dr martins) and some diff birkenstocks.

worley · 09/06/2009 16:54

lmao!! poor myleen

Jennster · 09/06/2009 17:49

Worley - You are welcome to my spare room. You know that thought about AH's mad female friend doing the damage. Unlikely though if other cars have been broken into also.

VoodooApocalypse · 09/06/2009 18:43

oh god worley - how awful it never bloody rains does it..but it pours.

the cops on CSI never get stuck by the weather, now, do they?

thanx for the birkie website jenn.

we had an offer on our house today ridiculously offensively low, and they want my new fridge freezer and nearly new dishwasher thrown in! cheeky pigs.

VoodooApocalypse · 09/06/2009 18:45

its on at offers over , yes over 170.

those idiots people offered 148.
then after bartering they moved up to 152.
I said I wanted an extra thou to cover the appliances as we'd have to buy new. they have not got back to us.

VoodooApocalypse · 09/06/2009 18:46

obviously those appliances dont cost a thousand quid, but I wanted 155 lowest offer and said I wanted them to meet us in middle.

or they can sod right off, we're in no rush.

VoodooApocalypse · 09/06/2009 18:47

am gutted though, as a house I found on the internet and fell in love with has been sold so now Im scratting round to find anything that fits our 'new' minimised budget and Im not finding a lot.

we have to compromise on area or one less bedroom.

the more I type the less I am inclined to accept his low offer.

VoodooApocalypse · 09/06/2009 18:50

Grrrr.
I am very pre menstrual too and kids driving me insane.

and had bad family news to contend with, my poor sis has a bad blood test result she has to have an amnio. Poor poor sis. Painful scary and 1%+ risk m/carriage.

she is very upset. she has counselling at hosp. tomorrow. my mum burst into tears when sis phoned, mum was up here visiting me with my other sis. we were all out shopping. my mum is very worried for her, she may have some dreadful decisions to make in next couple weeks.

Macdog · 10/06/2009 07:42

What a horrible thing to have to face. Keeping fingers crossed for her and bub

its all going on at once.
spoke to sister this morn and she's ok.
she asked me what Id do in that situ, very hard to answer.
I said to figure out worst case scenario for each option, and which would be more unbearable.
she has her counselling apt. in half an hour or so.

worley · 10/06/2009 16:15

hope things work out for your sis voodoo, you never know how things will turn out.

just been reading about that nursery thats been shut down as the nursery nurse had been involved with childs porn, on her camera phone. its disguting, those poor children and parents who have to wait and find out whats gone on.

worley · 10/06/2009 16:18

ds2's slide and swing set arrived this afternoon, it was meant to be delivered next thursday but it got here today, so im on the eve shift for nothing next week now! great

was meant to be going to "tone and groan" excersise class) tonight but AH has rung to say he is going to be late in from work as one of the kids been arressted. so i get to miss it. men hmmph

Jennster · 10/06/2009 20:49

Just booked my holiday this year. We are going here Booked it through Cottage4you via Mumsnet though and got 7% discount. They are the same company. Going with my Mum and Dad so they will pay for some too. Heated pools and babysitters (mum and dad) . It's a bit of a pain though because we have to take sheets, duvet covers and towels, but that makes it so much cheaper. Not too much of a hassle to chuck them in the car.

Jennster · 10/06/2009 21:49

Middle of september Worley. Can't wait.

I love wisteria, I just don't have the time to tend to seedlings and stuff. I barely have time to cook.
