Jennster · 29/05/2009 14:00

Macdog · 29/05/2009 16:46

There is somebody on my postnatal thread who has 2dc with mumps, both of whom have had the 1st dose of MMR. She also has a newborn. Herd immunity her way is non existent.

Jennster · 29/05/2009 18:02

According to the site I've just looked at, it's 3 years and 4 months here now. Which is JUST what DD1 is.

VoodooApocalypse · 30/05/2009 18:27

Great news.
Also getting another poem published!!
but still not won any money. Am turning my hand to children's books.

VoodooApocalypse · 30/05/2009 18:28

VoodooApocalypse · 02/06/2009 13:46

just spent the remains of my amazon voucher. got justified from another seller. and the nsync greatest hits love those songs and a doidy cup for about £3 for ds always wanted one for dd but never got her one so have treated him.
also got him two little short/tshirt sets from tesco as noticed he only has one handded down pair of shorts he's just been wearing vests..and this all-in-one shorts vest thing with a polo shirt collar that is gorgeous, looks like what james bond wore (sean connery in 70s) in a pale turquoise colour. sister originally picked it for her son, now my boy aka the hand-me-down-kid looks lovely in it!

VoodooApocalypse · 02/06/2009 13:47

big tropical bouquet arrived today pour moi
very very glamorous.

my apology from building society!!

worley · 02/06/2009 22:41

hey all,
we had a 9mth old baby die, didnt even get to be admitted, almost a DOA. is now being invetigated. i wish i worked in tescos sometimes and not in this job.

just watched p.s i love you, really sad. i have high school musical to watch tomorrow! dp is pleased with that!

Jennster · 03/06/2009 08:45

It makes you want to cuddle your's close to you doesn't it?

Voodoo - flowers sound lovely. What did they do?

Off to my mums today with lo. Need to do a quick tidy up of house before I leave though.

VoodooApocalypse · 03/06/2009 13:43

worley - poor little thing. was it accidental? or abuse?

jenn - building society 2 members of staff seperately asked by me informed me I would not be fined. I find out I was fined and fine added on to total of mortgage, hence fine changed from £30 to about £3000 over the next 30-odd years. So I wrote a very strong letter. They may get away with doing it to poor little old people/people who aren't switched on to them but not I.

VoodooApocalypse · 03/06/2009 13:44

have got Richard Scarry's busy book from amazon, about £6 for dd. It is fantastic, highly recommend for 3yr olds especially teaching letters.

remember it well from me as a kid, Lowly worm and Buckle the cat, and Wild Bill Hiccup the naughty raccoon.

VoodooApocalypse · 03/06/2009 13:45

not Buckle the cat, Huckle the cat.
