We have light spring showers here. Lovely and fresh and green and smells fantastic. Been at home with dd this morning. MIL came and picked her up just now. They are going swimming, to the beach, to the supermarket and then Dh will pick her up tomorrow night. We made a jaffacake this morning. Orange drizzle with chocolate on basically. Just off over the road for a cuppa with my friend. Will take the cherry bakewell cake to finish off.

Saw midwife this morning and everything fine. Dd walked with me all the way and back. Not very far and took ages, but I'm very pleased she didn't ask for a huggy (to be carried) once.

Could do with a nap and tidying the house. No idea what to eat tonight. Have chicken thighs, a whole chicken (but will have that on Sunday or Monday) lots of veg and salad to use up, but had salad for lunch. Frozen haddock, frozen salmon. Hmm think I will roast some veg and chuck the salmon on the top when nearly cooked.

well dp wants to see wolverine, im goning to go look uo now and see whats on. i dont mind going to see it but if theres something better i could try suggesting that.

we saw disturbia recently, we loved it, really good. that transforma kid (shia something) is turning out to be quite good in things, we saw him in indiana jones too.

have packed ds's bag ready to go, ds2 still having a nap so ds1 is playing on the xbox while we wait for ds2 to wake up, he has been asleep scince 2. i know he will have a late night at my parents so i have just left him to sleep. they are going here its about 1.5 hours drive to get to it and then a long steam train ride. ds1 is a bit of a train spotter still so he will lve it and ds2 loves anything ds1 loves.

i see the nhs staff have their first swine flu victim. we got told today we dont have enough mask in yet so we have to wear theatre masks still until we have some. great. im doing 9-7 tomorrow and bh monday.

have been loking at your ipod played jenn, its a draw between that one and a jbl radial one.

i thinkn its going to be wolverine.
im going to gove dp the choice of either going to the oden at norwich (40 min drive) or go to our local cinema (which hasnt changes for the past 30 years, still has same old carpet, chairs!) and going to local pubs afterwards. (which is 5 doors away from us!lol, we can stagger home afterwards)

will let you know later what --we i dp chooses.

on another thread maidamess just gave me the brill idea of using a cheap shower curtain as a mattress protector for dd. Genius, eh!

...but now same thread has got me worried Im jumping the gun...but but I want her out of nightime nappies...

now am looking at houseporn..kind of told those viewers we had an empty property lined up so would be able to move in 8weeks.,....

found out today i can get nhs discount from apple, so been lookind at docking stations on there too, i can get the bose ds series 2 for £200 instead of the £240 amazon offer it for, so might be worth a look.
