Cut dd's hair a bit with the MN method - looks good (mind you I only snipped a teeny bit off)

OP posts:
Jennster · 29/04/2009 17:54

Nope! What's the MN hair cutting method?

Green and Gold finches mostly in the garden today.

Macdog · 29/04/2009 22:04

this thread led to this thread and before we knew where we were, Mners were merrily chopping off their long flowing locks.

Gave me the confidence to whack about an inch off dd's

Beetle Drive was fabbo!

I have no hayfever at all bar 1/2 sneezes in the mornings

I may have grown out of it!

FIL may be released from hospital today if he's ok, the scan showed he did have a PE [very very lucky man emoticon] and now has pleurisy because of it. (he ignored the leg pain from the initial clot!) It came as
he refused to exercise with his cast on. Bet he does now though. And bet he gives up his occasional cigar too. Apparently when he was admitted he couldnt breathe and his lips were blue. He is 6' tall, a massive bull of a man, never ill. It has really frightened everyone.

VoodooTheUnlikely · 30/04/2009 12:04

He is 61 BTW.

VoodooTheUnlikely · 30/04/2009 12:06

I cut my sister's hair once, it ended up a crop on one side and a v. short bob on the other. She liked it!

I cut dd's a lot as can't afford a hairdresser to do hers. Can't decide if I want to grow out her fringe or keep it, as she does look super cute with a fringe..

VoodooTheUnlikely · 30/04/2009 12:07

going to try dd on cottage cheese today for the first time...

VoodooTheUnlikely · 30/04/2009 12:10

Jenn whass a CPD package?

this flu is a load of phooey. Nobody is really ill in the UK. Basically they have a cold?
There is a girls school in Torquay shut for 6 days because of the 12yr old who just got back from Mexico, they have SATs in 2 weeks not too annoying for the parents/teachers!
The child who died in Texas was a Mexican. Wonder why they have a much more serious strain?

VoodooTheUnlikely · 30/04/2009 12:13

My friend went to some poorer areas of Mexico to do a charity cycling trip....she came back with a woem inside her leg!!! It bit into her foot and crawleed up. Very common in Mexico, the cream required could be bought for a few pence. In UK however she had to wait 3 weeks to get hold of some via Manchester's tropical disease hospital.
She called to worm Bob. As she put the cream on you could see him writing around just under her skin. She said it didnt hurt just itched a lot.

VoodooTheUnlikely · 30/04/2009 12:14

woem?! worm
crawleed

ah, to hell with it

VoodooTheUnlikely · 30/04/2009 12:15
