omg!!! ds1 still cant bike in a straight line!! he is terrible on his bike, he wants to bike to school with his friend but there is no way im letting him do that. he is safer walking. i told him he had to wait till year 8 for another check to see if he is safer (he is in year 5 now) not a natural cyclist at all

where as ds2.. can do his scooter and pedal his trike, ds1 could never co-ordinate himself to push along on his scooter.

worley · 16/04/2009 19:52

but ds1's reading age is 13yrs and 6 months which is the highest they can test him at middle school, so he is more of an interlectual (?sp) than a physical activites person..

ok this was the most dreadful week of my life.

dd got really sick on monday, nhs direct told me to just keep giving her drinks..
by tuesday she was really weak, she stopped drinking.
I got her a docs appt for the pm, but she went downhill so I took her to casualty
in the meantime dh was also shockingly ill, but with diaorrhea, was loathe to leave him with ds but had no choice

at casualty they decided to give her a cannula for a drip to hydrate her. we were admitted to childrens ward and had to stay the night (the horrors)
dh wasnt allowed to come and help as he had the bug so had to deal on my own. struggled. took no food in with me so nearly starved til a play support worker gave me a mars bar and offered to watch dd for 5 mins so I could go to parents room for a cup of tea. ate dd s leftovers the rest of the time. got home 9pm last night
she has anti biotics but they dont know for sure what was wrong, they thought a water infection. waiting on a culture result on saturday, if its sinister have to take her back in for poss iv antibiotics and scan.

meanwhile ds being a nightmare for dh as he misses me and his sister am so

glad to be home but dd really not well. have wrapped her up tight and shoved in garden for fresh air for 5 mins while Im here. ds having nap. my mums coming in a minute.

dh ok enough to go to work today but ive phoned in sick for tonight. feel completely knackered and on the edge.

some kids in there were so ill its really frightened me. am scared of food poisoning/germs. why cant my kids be normally ill? noone elses kids need to go to hosp for being sick.

i managed to do the note thing too, took a bit of figuring out though.

hugs to voods, not nice at all.

i have a headache which i think is turning into a migraine, im starting to feel sick too, so am turning this off and going to bed.

worley · 17/04/2009 22:15

macdog,
you could do with my cat florence, shes good at rat catching, she leaves them for us on the doorstop, its disgusting, she gets them from the fields behind us. there is a livery farm a couple of terrace blokes up from us so the probably come down from there too. gross.

thats reminded me there is a dead bird in the garden too which ds2 showed me earlier he came up to me took my hand and said "come on, follow me", and got to the bird and said "look, bird". "roman did it" so he blamed the dog but i suspect it was the cat!

Macdog · 18/04/2009 18:28

am tired and fed up after another stressed visit to PIL - giving it a miss for a couple of weeks.

They've make it pretty F##KING obvious they only want to see dd anyway.

Ho-hum!

VoodooWithBellsOn · 18/04/2009 21:09

and
Macdog....can you use your amazing internet search skills to find and link me to the jonathan ross interview with lady gaga? dh says it was very weird. I can only find her live performance of poker face on you tube after 30mins searching.
sod googling it...Ill macdog it!!

Thankyou X

VoodooWithBellsOn · 18/04/2009 21:11

and...I watched that church woman singer (susan Boyle) on you tube, either it didnt translate onto interweb magnificently or I am a weirdo, but I didnt think it was that particularly good...? daily mail et al are all wanking over that performance...don't get why? it was nice, etc, but mind-blowing? not sure.

Jennster · 18/04/2009 21:23

Ah just looked up the performance. She's a good singer! Not my sort of music at all, but pretty good. I think it was the cynical attitude they all had before she went on. At least Sharon Osborne wasn't there with her patronising sycophancy.

OP posts:
worley · 19/04/2009 11:34

i watched the susan boyle on you tube the other night, it was the faces of the judges and the audience when they were sniggering at her and then when she sang, it was totally not expected.
did you see the little boy last night,www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvuBz8ZdU6c he was fantastic.

worley · 19/04/2009 11:42

that lady gaga does come across as a bit of a weirdo!

Macdog · 19/04/2009 18:07
